Real money saver
I ordered a package of these several years ago, but found I really wanted more for long smoking runs, ie 9 hours for brisket or very large pork cuts. I start with 1 bisquette, 1 spacer, then 2 bisquettes, 1 spacer 3 times, then 1 spacer, 1 bisquette until finishing up with 2 spacers. While indestructible, these do need some serious scrubbing with steel wool pads to return to original shine. They pay for themselves after only half a dozen uses. Our smoked meats seem just as smoky as ever. I only use them to finish up at the end for very small jobs like smoked pork chops which only smoke about 1.5 hours--ie 5 bisquettes and 2 spacers at the end.

Work great
These are exactly as described. I don’t like a real heavy smoke flavor in my meats, so I use these in alternating patter while using my Bradley smoker. It lightens up the strength of the smoke by giving the meat a break from smoke every other bisquette. Size is perfect and they work great. Not easy to clean, but neither is the smoker… so I say a little black residue won’t hurt with any future smokes.

Puck Saver
Product works as expected. Saves on smoker pucks and does help control level smoke the meats are exposed to. Recommend them as valuable purchase.

Saves money
These disc's work as advertised, they definitely save money by not having to constantly burn the bisquette's, you can stagger them in between the bisquettes & at the end to help feed the remaining wood to the burner. They even work once they get all gunked up from being in the smoker.

Save some bisquettes!
If you use a conveyor/push-feed style puck smoker (Bradley) you need these! These are perfect for spacing out your smoker "bisquettes" or 'pucks'.You can put one two or three between pucks; or whatever you want. If you load them correctly you can triple (or more) your heat exposure time while spreading out the smoke interval, saving those fairly expensive 'pucks' too! If you're out of pucks improvise and fill these rings with shredded/powdered/pelletized smoker wood(s) it really works. As to cleaning, why? There's no need to clean them other than aesthetics-unless you use them to the point that they won't slide through the chute...These are a must buy for the serious (Bradley style) smoker operator. If you're serious about your smoked foods, get these!

They worked perfectly.
Iv'e only used them once.. I had been given an old smoker that didn't work. I restored it and bought a set of these since the description made sense to me. The first time I used them, I placed a Biscuit, a saver, a biscuit, a saver... total 3 biscuits with the rest of the savers behind the 3rd biscuit as per the instructions. I smoked Bake potatoes, sweetcorn, and bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon.. The Biscuit savers worked flawlessly and it was the best Filet I had ever done.. I normally grill them with a few wood chunks on the side. But If I'm not in a hurry, I will never grill them againThe savers are very smooth polished, and lightweight... Load easily, and I had no jams in the system. Unless you really like to keep a full load of smoke for the entire time, These Biscuit savers really do the job.
