Natures Good Guys - Beneficial Nematodes Steinernema Feltiae - SF (5 Million)

I was skeptical that something as "easy" as adding nematodes to my plant chores ever so often would do anything to my fungus gnat invasion but boy was I WRONG!!! The package we ordered more than took care of our over 40 plants! We even had more than we needed and sadly had to throw away the package due to the lifespan of the 'todes. The instructions were clear and simple to follow and these eliminated the fungus gnat eggs within a few days. To finish them off we used a few yellow sticky traps to catch the adults and voila they were gone and we haven't seen a single gnat now in almost three months! If you have fungus gnats or any other similar pests GET THESE NOW!!! You will not regret it!

They work good. I saw less and less fungus gnats. Pretty easy to use. Good product

Man...I had an infestation of fungus gnats and bought some of this...mixed it with water and used it in my 5 gallon pots and not only did they bounce after 2 days, but they never came back EVER. It was like graveyard for insects in that soil. I kept imagining the horror of a gnat larva as he watched something bore into his insides....stayed like that until I harvested. I am here writing this review right now because I came back for another order, dem damn pests are at it again, same culprit. Time to release dem dogs.

I’ve used this product before and had great success but this time it arrived in 95 degree heat and the cool packs were 95 degrees. I don’t think the nematodes took the heat well because even though they are working it’s taken 4 applications and I still find a gnat once in a while.

Still seeing fungus gnats. Still keeping the soil moist. I live in Nevada and I think these nematodes were possibly delivered in the heat of the day As usual the delivery people didn’t ring the bell as I ask them to. The ice was melted and warm to touch so possibly they were mostly dead. I think they should state the heat will kill them beyond a certain time. They say give it longer time to work I’ll follow up. Right now if I disturb the soil I see too many jumping around the sides of the pot. To be continued. Don’t know if I want to try this company again just do to the shipping charges. So far not worth it. The claim it may need a second application but if the things lay eggs I do not see why that would be necessary especially in indoor plantsFollow up :Day 23 I believe the nematodes were dead on arrival Im catching them on sticky traps just as prior use of the nematodes . Hesitant to buy more at this point they are costly especially when paying 15.00 shipping that I thought would guarantee a live batch that are supposed to have babies. They give 30 days to see results but that’s also your refund expiration.

I used two rounds of them for a small garden area. Don’t think they attacked the pest I was going after as I saw evidence of the thrips and white flies running amok anyway. Maybe I did something wrong. I tried to follow the instructions..
