This is well-built and sturdy. Not difficult to put together

I rarely write negative reviews, but this product should not be offered on Amazon. Instructions are terrible- unclear and written by a non-english speaker. Kit arrived without clear tape strips shown on the packing list. Sent it back and got another one, which also arrived without the tape. The fittings are all loose, which means it sags and comes apart when you move the covers or get in the bed. So you really need the tape. Without the tape, the joints slide apart. Avoid this product!

It doesn't lift very high from the floor to begin with, and my feet are small. (Shoe size 7.5) But the reason for this review is that it really IS cheap, and while I could've lived with that, what I am not happy with was when I pulled a blanket higher in my sleep, the whole thing came apart on my feet. I wish I would've purchased a better quality one or maybe the cushion lift instead.

We needed about another 2-3 inches in height, so wound up putting the base on a solid cardboard box top. Then it worked perfectly. A hope chest at the foot of the bed serves to keep everything in place.

The directions say to warm the plastic parts, I assume to push the metal tubes into them.However, the plastic parts are oversized and the pipes slip in (and out) easy. The wholething would just fall apart at night. I got 1/2" self tapping screws and put in all of thejoints. I think the 3-way plastic part is going to crack and fail quickly. However when alltogether it is just what I was looking for. Right height and size for my feet. Yeah.You'll have to fix this up for your own needs as you'll see, but it's worth the parts tomake one vs. starting from scratch with PVC pipe and fittings.

I did not have any trouble putting it together. Seems sturdy enough.My one problem is that is high enough for a size 15 foot but waaay too tall for my wife's size 7 foot. It should be made variable sized like the width is. I cut off 8" of the height tubes. Now it is just perfect for her.

Product very lightweight and falls over when even slightly bumped and then sections fall apart. No tape or pieces included to keep clips from sliding off pieces. Doesn’t seem worth the money I spent.

I got this for post op use, and I’m going to order another one because I love having my blankets off my feet! It’s so comfortable that I am going to use these forever! Pretty easy to put together, the instructions have some weird thing about boiling water etc that I chose to pass over and the product works just fine.

This product is totally a waste of money ….Put together then tried to move and all fell apart.IF it did stay together… way over priced.

Plastic tubes are flimsy, don’t hold much weight and don’t stay together.
