I would have given it 5 star if the battery charging would have lasted a little longer. After a full charge you can use it for a couple of hours only

It needs a 4-5 hrs for fully charged and will be empty with less than an hour So disappointing you need to keep it plugged

Really pleased with this. It's well made with a whole load of features. The sound quality is really good, in fact it even picks up the sound of rain hitting the upstairs windows. The mic is very sensitive. I also like the fact the receiver doesn't make a constant hissing noise, as many baby monitors do. I'd say it's excellent value for money. Both the receiver and the microphone unit need to be plugged into the mains. For heaven's sake don't get hung up on the battery.... It's very small and the instructions do say it's only for very short term use. Maybe for example, popping through to the kitchen to make a coffee or something. If you need a battery powered monitor you probaly need to look elsewhere. I bought this monitor with my own money, it's my own review and I was not incentivised in any way.

Purchased from Amazon.com.be but it arrived with a UK plug and needs an adapter to function here. Sending it back.
