Wow, just wow!
I'm just a home mechanic, but this tool is epic!I was at my wit's end with a set of pedals and was about to bin them (cranks were already toast).I'd used my current pedal spanner, bathed the cranks in WD-40, heated them up with a blowtorch, when I thought I'd push the boat out on this tool.I really thought I'd stripped the thread when I used it, but it had effortlessly undone them. Pedals saved, cost offset!I then re-fitted all my bikes' pedals using anti-seize grease, so I probably won't need it's incredible leverage again.I'd say be careful not to over-tighten as the leverage you can get from this thing is enough to lift Thor's hammer. If you can get passed the price, this spanner will last a lifetime, and can then be bequeathed as part of your estate for another generation to be wowed, it's that awesome.

Spanner is really sturdy and would remove even the toughest pedals
I needed to change the pedals on a bike I hadn’t used for years. The pedals were stuck and a standard Allen key didn’t give me enough leverage. I also had a Park Tool PW-5 pedal spanner. It was starting to round off the pedals and also didn’t have enough leverage. I bought this and the BBB pedal Allen key wrench. I tried the Allen key wrench first and that worked perfectly. I decided to keep the Park Tool as well though. It’s a lot more robust and has a longer handle than the PW-5 so I’m going to keep it and sell the old one.I therefore can’t review how the spanner works but I can say it’s better than the PW-5 and would definitely do the job no matter how tight your pedals.

It's the dogs!
I'm telling ya, don't even think of buying anything but the Park Tool pedal spanner, Yes I know people say there are others out there just as good, but honestly there isn't!I've used other brands for half the price & I've moved many a pedal with them, but, when things get tough with a stubborn pedal, this bad boy will shift the tightest of the tightest! were others fail. This is for the PW-4, I'm not sure what the difference is from the PW-3 apart from the off-set open ends but I can imagine to just as effective.

Professional workshop quality.
Park Tool have a good understanding of what a professional workshop tool should be. I use the word "professional" in the sense of a tool that helps in an environment where time is money and customer service is key, rather than just to reflect higher quality. Both the design and quality of construction of this tool are suitable and sufficient, neither more nor less. The provision of two openings at different angles and the length of the handle make it easy to apply the correct force without undue stress. Reasonable value at under £30.

The Daddy!
This pedal spanner is awesome! I had been battling unsuccessfully for over two hours to remove stuck pedals recently with my regular tools, and after reading about the Park Tool PW-4 I decided to take the plunge and splash the cash. Well it arrived today and all I can say is the wrench is unbelievable. I had removed the most stubborn pedal in less than a minute with minimal effort due to its incredible leverage. Highly recommended and I know it will last for years and years as it's so solid and well made. I never thought I could get this excited about a bike tool but it really is the last word in pedal removal. Worth every penny!

Just made it all so easy!
I had struggled for so long to get my pedals off my road bike that i was at the point of taking it in to a bike shop. I thought that i would give it one more go and googled for a solution. A number of people recommended this wrench and although it was not the cheapest i decided to get it. For the sake of the price for a couple of beers, this was certainly worth it. Within 10 seconds one pedal was loosened and within 2 minutes both were completely off. This was worth the money - recommended.

The right tool for the job
I don't write reviews very often... but this big spanner is so right, I just had to. The pedal in question had already taken chunks out of a normal 15mm spanner rather than moving and I was near my wits' end.2 minutes after getting this beast down to the garage (it took that long as I still couldn't shift it with hand pressure on the workstand, I had to put the bike on the floor and use my leg) and that pedal was off :)I always prefer buying my own tools for jobs... this isn't the cheapest tool, but now I own it forever, or maybe a bit longer the way it's made ;)

The right tool for the job
Had a stuck pedal that wouldn't come off. Tried botching it with regular spanners and wrenches but couldn't get enough torque; thought I might have to buy a new crank. Bought this, job done in 5 minutes. Expensive, but well worth it.
