Limited height
Ordinarily I love all Gibraltar products, and I do love the basket design on this one. But when I went to install it on my rack, I was dismayed to find it barely reached the height of the tripod I was replacing, fully extended. Luckily, after studying the design I was able to create a workaround with parts I had laying around from previous rack builds.This product is tough and well-designed as all Gibraltar products are, but if you want your snare at navel height, buy the version of this without the extra foot assembly, use a piece of 1.5" tube to get it to the height you want, capped with a Gibraltar SC-RBA Rack Tube Boom Attachment to hold it securely. That's what I did, and I'm happy again...

Just What I Needed!!!
This one leg snare stand was used with the Gibraltar SC-GPRSBAR Stealth Bent Bar and the Gibraltar SC-GSMTL Stealth Mini T Base. Very Sturdy set up and opens up valuable floor space when using double pedals. +++
