Excellent Air Purifier. Quiet, Smart, and Very Effective
This LEVOIT air purifier has been a fantastic addition to our home. We’ve been using it for a few months now, and the difference in air quality is noticeable, especially for me being allergic and very sensitive to dust in the air. Here’s what we love about it:Very Quiet Operation:Even on higher settings, it runs quietly. On sleep mode, it’s almost silent, so we can keep it on all night in the bedroom without it being distracting.Night Mode:The display dims and the fan slows down, making it perfect for nighttime use. It doesn’t disturb sleep at all.Smart Features and App Control:Controlling it through the app is super convenient. You can switch modes, check air quality, and set schedules from anywhere. It also works well with Alexa for voice commands.Auto Mode with PM2.5 Sensor:The auto mode is very responsive. Whenever we cook and the air in the kitchen gets heavy, we get an alert on the phone letting us know there’s been a drop in air quality. The purifier kicks into a higher fan speed automatically and clears the air quickly. It's really reassuring to know it’s monitoring things constantly.Strong Performance for Larger Rooms:We use it in an open-plan living area, and it handles the space with no problem. The airflow is powerful and consistent, and you can really feel the difference, especially during allergy season.Overall:This is a top-notch air purifier. Quiet, intelligent, and very effective. The smart notifications and automatic adjustments make it feel like it’s doing the thinking for you. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve indoor air quality with minimal effort, and I will definitely buy a second one for my second floor soon.

Great filter, not so good sensors
This is a great filter, it definitely clears the air of dust, pet dander, etc. Noise level is ok too. I've had it for a week now, the lowest setting has developed an annoying low whine, like a squeak. The sensor like another review has mentioned could not sense dust in your grans loft. The dog shakes next to it and you see the dander explosion in slo-mo but the filter doesn't budge. It seems to only work with smoke or water/oil based particles. Ironing in the same room seems to kick it off. I also dont understand why this sensor is on the back of the machine :s Despite all this, it is a good filter, it has a great app and schedule feature which I have used to program the filter to run at various times on short full blasts during the day. I have tried to update the software, but so far the process has failed multiple times. Would I recommend it? Yes for less dust, fairly low noise, good design. Just don't expect miracles from the auto sense feature...

Delete the dusts
I have been using the 400s in my bedroom for about a month now, and it's definitely made a difference. I've noticed less dust settling on things, and the air just feels cleaner when you walk in.First impressions? It's a fairly big machine, no getting around that, but it needs to be for the size of room it can handle, (overkill for my room of 23m). Even though it's large, it looks quite modern and sleek, so it doesn't look out of place. Setting it up was simple enough, just taking the filter out of its packaging and plugging the unit in. Connecting to the Wi-Fi app was straightforward too. The app itself is quite useful if you want to fiddle with settings remotely, put it on a timer, or check the air quality readings it’s been getting. As for how well it actually works, it seems to do a good job. It has the usual three filters: one outside for bigger bits like fluff and hair, the main HEPA one for fine dust, and a carbon filter for smells. The sensor that checks the air quality seems pretty sharp. If my neighbour is smoking near an open window or if there are strong cooking odours lingering, the purifier detects it quickly and the fan really ramps up. You can also tell the air quality at a glance from the coloured light ring on top, which goes from blue for good to red for bad. When the fan does kick up to full speed because it's detected something, it is pretty loud but works quickly. But on auto and lower mode, it's generally quiet and unnoticeable, same with sleep mode.Maint for it is easy too. The main thing is to give the outer pre-filter a quick hoover every few weeks to get the dust off, plus a wipe down of the machine itself. Doing that should help the main filter last a bit longer, since they costs like £60, this help to extends it from 6 months to maybe 8.The only real grumble is that you can't recycle the old filters once they're done. It makes sense given all the stuff they trap, but it’s still a bit of a shame not to be able to. And obviously, its size means you need a bit of floor space for it.I got it on sale for £190 and it's decent so far. It clears the air well, it's easy to use day-to-day, and the app controls are handy. Even with the noise when it's going flat out and the filter situation, it's a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Definitely worth considering if you're bothered by dust or allergies, they have a variety of filters too for different use cases.

Clever device
It’s great sits quietly most of the time and when it sensors poorer air increases fan speed to quickly return to clean air. Love the display which shows how bad air is at a glance and the accompanying app. Not the cheapest but I think it was a good buy.
