IKEA Not Floor Lamp Reading LED Light (Bulbs Included) Adjustable Spotlight Arm (with Bulbs) (Lamp + 2 LED Bulbs)

have owned 3 of these for years and loved them. The new versions are chintzier. The first 2 came with broken parts. The last 2 came in tact but with the wrong base for the smaller light. Not sure why the quality has gone down. I still like the lamps I have.

I would have given this 5 stars, but it says it comes with bulbs but mine did not. It was easy to assemble and looks good too.

Mine came without bulbs. However, I texted the Amazon customer service and they worked it out, refunding me the cost of the ikea brand bulb pack for this lamp.So, if you don't get bulbs, bitch to Amazon. They'll sort you out.The product isn't particularly high quality, but it's good enough. Style is innocuous. It puts out plenty of light for the wattage and the reading lamp is flexible but stays in place when you set it. I needed something for my bedroom to read in bed before I go to sleep, and this fits the bill perfectly.Note, this is 5 stars relative to the very low price, not relative to really high quality, high priced lamps. Little things like the dangling cord and obviously inexpensive tube for the body are definitely a bit cheesy, but the thing is less than twenty bucks if you figure the price of the LED bulbs that come with it. Getting a nicely made replacement would be triple that price.

You need a cheap lamp and don't care too much about looks? This lamp is fine. Simple, basic, black and white, functional.But: the picture does NOT accurately portray the sloppy look of the cord that hangs OUTSIDE the pole. You only get two little clips to secure it to the pole. Also, the cords to the two lamps above the switch are uneven, so there's no way they could lie flat with any number of clips. (See photo)And: the "flexible" neck for the smaller lamp is only half flexible; the half closest to the shade is NOT flexible, for about 6 inches, so when I bend it down over my computer monitor for extra light, it shines right in my face.However, the combined light is quite bright and natural and will work fine until I treat myself to something nicer.

The setup is so easy that any dummy could set it up. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because the bulbs I received are not LED. I have some spare LED bulbs that I purchased from Walmart to use on an older version.I noticed some people that those light bulbs are hard to find :). You don't have to use the exact same light bulbs. If the light bulb is out, take it with you to Walmart or any other store and check to see if you can find any bulb that can fit. I wouldn't have paid extra for the bulbs if I knew what I was going to receive.

I read many of the reviews. Yes, the bulbs are hard to find but that is IKEA. I bought with the bulbs and they worked perfect. As far as coming in pieces this is just like one you buy at Walmart or target. The LED bulbs are long lasting and fit perfect. Since they are LED there is no heat.While the wire on the outside it not my first choice it is great for my eight year old to reach and turn on the light.Read the description but all the parts and bulbs worked perfectly. And it was more sturdy than what I get at Target or Walmart.

My daughter really loves this light. It was easy to put together. The reading lamp portion does a great job. She hardly ever uses the upper light. I'm going to buy me one for my bedroom. It's easy to use on off switch is good too. My daughter is bedridden at the moment so... Now she can see 'everything'without leaving the bed.

This lamp is very well made. Well weighted bottom and all the pieces of the pole are properly threaded so they fit together perfectly with no leaning after assembly. Some people do not like the cord that runs down the side of the lamp, but it is the reason I bought this one over others. I have had one before and the dual switch on that cord is the perfect height for chair or bedside so that you don't have to get up to turn the lights off or on.Highly recommend!

Powder coated metal and good plastic (polycarbonate?) Material.The light ... everyone appreciated. Assembly was easy. Surerior packing. The wire could have been concealed in the pipe.The finished product is somewhat wobbly even after tightening all the threading.

First time buying IKEA products. Although company has a excellent reputation abroad, I wasn't sure how this would translate in India.I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Product arrived well packaged, all parts intact and clean, nothing missing, including light bulbs . Only the lamp shades required small amount of cleaning/dusting.Assembly took 10 minutes thanks to clear, simple instructions in manual included (I'm not normally good at such things so an an experienced person could probably assemble it even faster).Turned it on and it works just fine. For now anyways!P. S. Some other reviews worried me about the lamp shades and bulbs but I faced no issues.

It does increase the aesthetics of your room. Very simple yet beautiful.
