Leap of Faith: Finding Love the Modern Way

Great read, with really good advice! Loved reading about their journey and how they have overcome their issues! Definitely worth the read.

Seriously, I was not going to buy the book. I was on the wait list on a public library site. However, yesterday afternoon, I wanted a book to read. Back story: two weeks ago I read Bamboozled by Jesus…by Yvonne Orji and am currently in the middle of Feeding the Soul by Tabitha Brown. But after stumbling upon these two several weeks ago, I have (low key) been enamored with their love. This book did not disappoint! Cameron and Lauren gave their back stories before LIB. This was totally fate. I read some of the comments about the “advice” they give in the book. I think it was a nice touch. The way they lived their lives up to the point of LIB is a testament to how God is in the details. All in all, a great listen / read. My take away: a. love can and will find you, b. take time to develop you and go after your dreams, c. don’t lose sight of what is important. I could go on…no really, I could…If you were touched by their story, this is the homemade butter cream cheese frosting on top of the red velvet cup cake. You’re welcome! 😍

Not a very well written book, seems liked they rushed to write a book instead of taking the time to do it properly. I've found a few grammatical errors throughout and I'm not the best at spelling and grammar. I wish that this book was better written considering how big a fan I am of theirs.

I stumbled across this couple's love story only in March of 2021 and saw they had written a book. I immediately pre-ordered it because I found their love story so fascinating and heartfelt. I waited patiently for the book until the actual release date of the book and let me say, it did not disappoint. The behind the scenes tea of their love story was so sweet and lovely to read about, but even if you have never seen the show on Netflix, or know their story, the book is a page-turner for all kinds of advice and personal accounts of how to have a "healthy" relationship/marriage. No one's marriage or life is perfect, but you can work at it being healthy and this is what this couple seems to be doing wonderfully! I pray God continue to bless them individually, their marriage, their families, and their future children.

I believe Cameron and Lauren gave us an insight into their lives and their experience of life before LIB, during and how life is now. Well written and so easy to follow. I loved how they wrote the book together but in each of their own words. It helped you understand what each was going through together but separately. I read it twice and the 2nd time I picked up things that I didn’t get the 1st time. These two were brought together by God, I believe that. Their marriage is strong and will last a lifetime.

I only gave this 4 stars because I love Lauren & Cameron but this wasnt what I expected. The book is more of a guide for relationships than a behind the scenes account of the LIB experience. They gave some but anyone who watched the show kind of knew it already. I was a tad disappointed.
