My original keyboard just stopped working, so I installed this one. I cannot tell the difference between this and the original. It looks and feels identical to it. I'll keep the original so I have extra keycaps just in case the letters wear off of these ones. The replacement is an annoying process, but not that hard. I took a small hand torch and applied upward pressure to the metal plate while melting the plastic rivets holding it on. The keyboard came out easily after that. The new keyboard popped in, and I headed a steel nail and melted the rivets flat again to hold everything in place. I then applied a little hot glue to some of them after that for additional support. It feels very sturdy. The keyboard isn't mushy at all. If you don't do a good job at this installation process, then the keyboard will flex and feel terrible. Just spend a little extra time and do it right. I know because the first time I put it together, I just popped things back onto the melted rivets and hoped for the best. Well things didn't stay in place, so I had to go back in and fix it.

Llegó muy rápido, antes de la fecha programada, el teclado en excelentes condiciones, muy bien empacado, me sirvió mucho y me ahorré bastante cambiandolo yo mismo, muchas gracias por todo.

La instalación debe ser cuidadosa, prácticamente hay que desarmar la computadora, quitar batería, disipador, ventilador, placa base, bisagras, pantalla, protector anti cortos circuitos para poder llegar al teclado, el teclado originalmente es remachado con plástico sensible al calor, yo lo logré quitar con un secador de pelo con aire bien caliente y con ayuda de una espátula, luego coloque el nuevo y le coloque resina para sostener el nuevo, aunque lo podrías hacer también con silicona caliente, el teclado quedó súper bien, se siente me mejor calidad que le original pero no es retro iluminado!

Power button on keyboard was broken so replacement was necessary. Fit perfectly after finally getting laptop back together it powers on. If u have never taken a laptop apart I suggest taking pictures so u know where everything goes back afterwards

Keyboard is very cheaply made. Keys stick and just feel cheap. Spend the money for a OEM.
