Decent price, made in my home state of MI, and high quality? SOLD.
This stuff is a must have for CP soap making. It really does help harden the soap loap faster so you can cut it up literally just one day after...even for CP soaps that are heavy on the olive oil. I suspect I get faster curing times to, but it is difficult to gauge. I have not adjusted my curing times after cut, but I have adjusted my timing for un-mold of the loaf and cutting...down to 1 day. Love it.

Wonderful additive for soap at a great price!
I use sodium lactate at 5% in my hot process soaps - 1.6oz for 32oz of oils, added after the post-cook superfats. It helps loosen up the soap for designing, it hardens the soap to make the bars last longer in the shower and it acts as a preservative. I really don't want to make soap without it. I've been buying the 16oz bottles, but then I saw this - twice as much product for only four dollars more - this is a great price for hobbyists!

Excellent Product!
Great product! Product was damaged on the way over, but costumer service was excellent and I was able to get my refund quickly. I was able to use what was left of the product and it worked amazingly! Will order again!

Used in hot process soap making
I use this product in every batch of soap that I make. Hot process soap making creates a bar that is a little more rustic looking than cold process bars. Sodium lactate helps the batter to be a little more fluid, therefore, it's easier to put into the mold and there's not a whole lot of air in between the spoonfuls of batter. I am very happy with this product.

The product it great but this packaging... I was upset! Hopefully next time will be packaged properly.

Great product for making soap.
This is a great product and I put it in every batch of soap that I make. However, it looked like it had been tampered with upon arrival. There was no seal under the cap, the cap was partially open, and there was sodium lactate all over in the outer sealed bag. I'm not returning it, but I think I should get at least a partial credit for this as there was loss of product.

Works well for a harder bar of soap.
This is the second or third purchase of this item. I use it for soap making (makes a harder bar). It also helps the soap to release from my silicone molds easier.

Poor product
Product was received without a sealed safety seal, the lid was not secure and missing about a 1/3 of the product.
