I keep batteries in one, hygiene items in one, extra paper in another, and office supplies in another one. I also use them in my computer bag and printer bag. They have great hinges and two sturdy latches. Also the plastic that they are made of is good quality and thick. These also fit a normal 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Other brand that I have are flimsy and don't even fit a normal sheet of paper. Overall these are the better organizers and I would definitely recommend them to others.

**Q: Will the inside dimensions easily fit an 8 1/2 x 11 paper?  A4 size will not fit.**
A: Yes, the edges are graded or gravely but the center is smooth

**Q: Are these flat on top? Could they be used as a writing surface?**
A: They are flat-ish. They have design highlights that make the top look like they have panels. If you have something on top (like a magazine) they would work, but just a piece of paper and pen/pencil, I would say no. The picture that someone posted (above reviews) gives a great view of what the top looks like.

**Q: How many 8x10 photographs will it hold?**
A: I do apologize but I didn’t use my for photos I put newspapers in mines I think it held two whole papers in each I think one I put 3 cause they were small I do hope that helped

**Q: Can a newspaper fit in this case?**
A: You would more than likely have to fold it up, but I think it could fit. This holds a stack of 8.5x11" paper nicely.

These A4 size portable storage boxes are great. I purchased these to organize my truck bag and they work great. I keep batteries in one, hygiene items in one, extra paper in another, and office supplies in another one. I also use them in my computer bag and printer bag. They have great hinges and two sturdy latches. Also the plastic that they are made of is good quality and thick. These also fit a normal 8.5x11 sheet of paper.
