Full of data to support the arguments made. Well written and organised by sub-topics. Be warned though, having read it you will probably feel a sense of helplessness and despair over how the West is on a path of self-destruction economically with its Net Zero policies that will make everyone poorer by following a false narrative on Climate Change causes.

I am so impressed with this book. It clearly puts the current climate change hysteria affecting western civilisation into context. Backed up by facsimiles of historic press reports, it demonstrates how this phenomenon is nothing new, but an apparent periodic occurance manifesting a new every decade or so over the last century. Of which every single prediction made has observably proved to be wrong.Diligently researched, but remaining highly accessible throughout, the authors presentation is replete with that other Holy Trinity of fact, logic and reason, presenting a powerful counter argument to the stifling societal neurosis of the 'New Stone Age Religion of the Gas Ghost in the Sky'. It explains how the most advanced societies the world has ever known, are being duped by highly partisan and protectionist low grade [anti] science weaponised by a globalist-leftist political agenda, and are slowly but surely, sleeping walking to economic collapse and destruction.Having recently witnessed an XR demonstration its participants adhorned with multi-coloured feathered head dresses, banging drums and dancing strangely, the spectacle reminded me of scenes from Mel Gibson's Mayan movie Apocalypto. The difference being that the Maya were probably looking in the right place by worshipping the sun - although to be fair, modern day Swedish child Saints are reputed to be able to see the relatively tiny amounts (0.04%) of carbon dixoide believed by some to be destroying the planet.If you value our way of life, then read this brilliant and insightful book. And then buy a copy for all of your friends and ask them to do the same. It really is worth every single penny.

This book is brilliant. You need to read it particularly as our current cost of living problems are partially due to the Political Classes falling for the climate alarmist arguments. Man made Climate change is considered to be so right that it cannot possibly be argued against (if you do you are a 'denialist')The book puts forward counter arguments to those propagated by Climate Alarmists (which is rapidly becoming a new religion), including the fact that temperatures, after being high between 1880s to 1930s, were actually going down from 1940 to the 1970s to the extent that the Guardian was predicting another ice age! And CO2 emissions were going up from the 1940s. So maybe this is all part of some natural cycle? We also get a debunking of the theory that ‘97% of scientists believe climate change is man made’.Sure we should reduce pollution in the world but we can't destroy our economies based on a theory particularly when the main polluters aren't doing anything about it at all.Additionally the book also points out there may be other causes of climate change including the orbit of the earth around the sun (and sun spots).I bought one of David Craig's books a few years ago about the waste of public money during the New Labour years– he’s a very good investigative writer.

This is an excellent e-book, but it is flawed. That is why I have got 4 stars. The flaw is that this e-book does not contain the end notes. That is a major omission that needs to be rectified. I would have given the e-book 5 stars had it contained the end notes.The print version does have the end notes, which are essential for checking the veracity of what Mr Craig says. That is why I bought the printed book.On the upside, the e-book is in colour, which makes the graphs easier to interpret. Whereas the printed book is not in colour.

Take the effort to dig for yourself.Or simply swallow the propaganda you're fed, but then you must lose the right to call the dissenters 'conspiracy nuts'This book illustrates that the climate hysteria we're facing is not a new phenomenon, having persisted for well over 200 years. The book supplies many newspaper clippings from history to show that the activists' apocalyptic predictions are based on smoke and mirrors and their self-righteous-certaintly is remarkably squidgy once the latest predicted doom scenario fails to materialise.Despite what you're told:* The supposedly threatened Polar Bears and the Great Barrier Reef are both thriving.* The antarctic ice has remained stable for over 10 years.* The sun is a far bigger driver of climate than man ever has been.* Water vapor is a far bigger greenhouse gas than CO2, but none of the models that "prove" we're doomed adequately account for this variable.* Computer models are NOT predictions, despite what we're told.* The stations used to record our temperature data are gradually being encroached upon by the expansion of human infrastructure, such that the "urban heat effect" is distorting our data. An acre of asphalt holds heat far better than an acre of wheat. What was once a wheat field is now an airfield, so today's data isn't comparable with historical data.Climate has always changed. But man isn't causing it. We're in an interglacial period. The climate models are not proof of anything except the modellers' inbuilt assumptions.CO2 is not the earth's thermostat. Even if it was, the majority of CO2 emissions are not man-made and cannot be controlled by us. C02 concentrations lags the earth's temperature changes by many years, meaning it cannot drive temperatures but only responds to them.Eliminating our carbon footprint is a pipe-dream that will make so many rich people even richer, but will also create massive poverty for those who are least able to afford it.Don't trust TV and ignore our politicians and you might remain sane.

Mr. Craig tells it like it is using historical newspaper articles, comparing the original scientific works from NASA, NOAA et al and the revised "scientific works" from the same institutions that have become politically corrupt. Anyone who is interested in a simple English, easy to understand book on "Global Warming", sorry "Climate Change" or now "Extinction Event", should read this book. I highly recommend it.

This book is definitely worth a read.
