YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED, UES IT !!
Easy to use, strong and very great product, I made the mistake of using another product that did not work anywhere close to this product. Don't take chances on your project, use this product and you won't be disappointed !!

BUY THIS
It's hard to review a simple commodity adhesive like this. But it works and works well. There is NOTHING wrong with this stuff. The solvents will kill billions of your brain cells but that's not a product faultStrongly suggest two coats on both surfaces when you brush this on, and let the first coat completely dry. Completely. Also is great when your second coat is one of those super thinned overpriced adhesive sprays like 3M 77 or 90.When you get this don't forget to order a bunch of cheap throwaway chip brushes.

Good Stuff - but here's what they don't tell ya on the label.
Good stuff. But here is a what I found to be a very important consideration that is not on the instructions/label and I don't want others to suffer my fate:I was attaching wood veneer, but what happened to me may apply to other situations...You apply the contact cement to each half, wait about 1/2 hour, and then attach the two pieces. You press it out with a roller (I actually use a plastic/nylon carpet tucker as it allows for better pressure per square inch with less effort). All is perfect and flat with no air bubbles. You stare at how good it looks, pretend your dog isn't simply happy to see come back from the garage...but this time he's actually proud of the job you just did, and you have a sandwich. So, figuring because the can says all is ready to go in 15-20 min, and it's been easily over an hour, you go to apply stain and poly coats for finish. DON'T DO IT!!!!! The light rub of stain looked great, but as the poly went on the veneer within about 5-10 minutes the sheet began to bubble. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I did some internet research and found out from generous with knowledge sensei types this stuff needs a solid 48 hours to fully cure. Allow that time! Take the dog for a two day hike and then finish the project and you and your dog will be much happier for it.(If you don't want to believe the above and poly two hours later and see the bubbles: Yes, you are in trouble. But don't beat the dog. I experimented and found a very hot iron with thin cloth between the wood and iron can help to get rid of the bubbles - but not perfectly. Lucky for me, I was able to save the project. Hold the iron barely moving it in one very small section (section by section) at the highest temperature and then say a little prayer. While some refinishing (a couple of days later) was needed, you may get as lucky as I did with the save.)Lastly - don't use the green label contact cement Dap/Weldwood sells. Horrible stuff.

It's just right
It came well packaged and worked for my needs. It's a little more liquid than I remember but to be honest, I think it's because the last can of contact cement that we had around here was so old from an old remodeling job... I'm talking decades old, that I think some of the solvent evaporated out over the years of opening and closing it so much. Anyway, at this consistency, in the brand new can, it's perfect for what I need, of course. It is a strong and reliable adhesive and It would have saved me a lot of money if I had thought of it before buying some other stuff for my projects. It's a good price, especially for a whole quart of it. I don't think it will be decades before this can is used up. I use a lot of it these days.

When glue arrived, can was badly dented, hardly usable. Don't know what happened, but that is no way for a package to arrive!!
