Rustins ANTQBCBX Brass and Copper Bath, Clear, Set of 3 Pieces

This is desk set that was given to my granddad when my mum was a little girl. A dutch couple granddad had meet before the 2nd World War. My nanny Rose used to polish it with brass. I have used this product once so far an it is removing at lot of the brasso. My mum was 94 when she past. So I guess it might be over a 100 years.

It works, however, I think I should have put 2 sachets in the bowl I used. Interesting the Brass Davy Lamp I am cleaning came out with a coppery hue! The 1 sachet got rid of years of tarnish though. I think I will put it in again to see what happens.

This product really does work and it’s simple to use. Literally leave it in the water with one of the pouches provided for five minutes and use a sponge afterwards with washing up liquid to clean it. I did all the doorhandles in our house and locks as well and everything looks brand-new. Just be careful with things which already have a lacquer on them as this strips the plastic and you have to spend more time trying to take that off.

I use for clear copper and brass not very easy or good after cleaning items still not so shine

well for once something that says what it will do on the packet actually works, i had a black brass light that i have been struggling to get it bright, i left a bit longer than says and used a smal brass wire brush, a little hard work and hey presto, quite an amazing product, well done
