All I can say is that I am in love with these. So much so that I have not only purchased these for family gifts, but I have tossed all of my regular C and D cell flashlights. My mom (almost 80) loves hers (Christmas gift complete with a monster pack of batteries)… she even sent me a stream of funny texts showing her POV from the dark parking lot at her apartment complex as she was taking out the trash.These are a bargain, are BRIGHT AS EVER & I would wear one everywhere if I had a need to!As for features....the battery pack is concave, so it sits comfortably against my noggin (albeit, I have a LOT of hair & usually have the band stretched over a cumbersome bun....of hair, not a cummerbund - lol); the span of LED light coverage is excellent and WOW, don't look right at another person (unless you want to evade capture, they will be blinded long enough for you to turn and dip out the back...but in that case, click the button twice & you can strobe them...you'll get farther away, lol); the high/low/strobe settings are a benefit and work easy...they make me wish I had this puppy when I was a LEO and paid a pretty penny for a strobing flashlight for my kit; and the 'back of your head' red light is also a great feature for rear safety! AND they didn't break the bank (ahem, like hubby's "fancy" $100 version)! Win Win. Get yourself one!

Ordered a pair of these headlamps. One of the headlamps produced a lot of heat during use and was uncomfortable to wear. I contacted the company and they quickly sent a replacement headlamp. So great customer service. However the replacement headlamp was also defective for a different issue as it had a short in the power cord that caused the unit to turn on and off. I again contacted the company and told them that the replacement headlamp was defective. It’s been a week and no response from the company. Crickets! So of the 3 headlamps I received from the company, 2 were defective. And customer response is spotty.Update: just received my replacement LED headlamp from the company. Unit works fine. Initially thought that the supplier stopped communicating about replacing a bad unit but found that their response to my inquiry had been deleted on my end by mistake. It took little back and forth but the company made good on their desire to correct the situation. Overall happy with the company response, but I rated the overall transaction 4 stars because 2 of the units we defective when received. But the company will make it right.

These headlamps do much better than those that are more like flashlights attached to your head. They provide a lot of light, they light up the whole room in fact. It seems more natural than just having a point source. I like the fact that they are AAA battery powered rather than button cell batteries. I haven't had a chance to find out how long the batteries last yet, but considering these still provide a lot of light even when not on the brightest setting, I would expect the batteries to last at least a few hours.

This product is actually pretty cool! They are very bright in a flood like sense. I used them to BBQ when it was late, camping, also for working under my car and truck.. great light dispersment! Worth every penny

Not the brightest but lightweight and a decent light. Good value for the price.

Just received the light, and I am very impressed with how it lights up such a wide area. It’s way different than traditional headlamps that have a smaller more focused spot of light, because with this light, objects that are in your peripheral vision are also lit up. This lamp makes the area in front of you similar to daylight. Haven’t tested how long it will work yet. Looking forward to putting it to use soon! I’ll use it for automotive work, hunting and camping.

Very light and comfortable. Love the wide, bright coverage. Does not bounce around and slip down my forehead like traditional headlamps. Have only worn for a few times with no loss of brightness, not sure how long battery life is yet.
