My little guy has an excellent paint job, no rust, and thick molding. Doesn't seem to be thin as some reviewers stated. He arrived in perfect condition, and was well packaged. I will paint the wire gate (easily removed) with a rust proof coating before he goes outside, and put a coat of clear nail polish on the hinge to further prevent rust. I may even glue the hinge/door into place. He looks really cute. I will put him on the side of a large tree stump and plan on making an A-style thatch roof for the top of the stump. Might even make a little ladder like some others have done. He will go well with my other gnomes.

This is an adorable and beautifully colored gnome and looks perfect on our tree stump. Everyone who sees it just loves it. It is heavy and has a hanger on the back. My husband just screwed a screw into the stump and hung it. The cage door just slides into the slots, but is not permanently attached, so do not pick up by this gate when handling. Easy transaction, fast shipping, excellent seller. In fact I ordered a 2nd one a few days later. Thank You!

He is so cute. We put him on one of our oak trees. My husband did need to drill a hole in it and used a 3 inch screw to attach it to the tree. It’s very sturdy and snug to the tree by doing this. Love it.

I wanted to put this on a tree in my yard but the hook to hang it is just a straight alligator picture hanger. Not sure it with stand winds and not blow off. Very cute though just wish the hanger was made better

We put on the lower section on our front deck and have received many compliments. My only complaint is the hanging feature isn't what I would consider key hole, but that is not a deal breaker for me. It is cute and we like it.

Bought this as an Easter surprise for my husband and he was tickled. We chuckle every time we see this little guy in our yard! So stinking CUTE and whimsical! Nice weight, painting and details. Easy to hang. Hubby placed a couple extra screws around him to anchor him firmly since we are in a windy area. I think we may be starting a small collection lol!

We bought a house surrounded by trees. This little guy is hanging on a tree right outside the window. I love looking out and seeing him "climbing out". He puts a smile on everyone's face! He seems to be well made. I only got him for Christmas so don't know how he will handle the changing seasons, but for now I am happy!

I added this into my yard decor with other elves. It looks like he is stepping out of his tree to enjoy his world.
