Brill book loved

This book is just not as good as everyone's making it out to be. I am the easiest reader to please, truly. But throughout reading this book, I felt like I was losing brain cells after finishing each paragraph. The "Oh Brandon," & "Oh Katies" seriously ruined every moment. It needs SERIOUS editing work. I'm so confused at the success of this book. I just... I'm perplexed. I've never given a book one-star. But this gets one. I feel terrible giving this review because I've never had to give one like this before, but even the sensual scenes gave NOTHING. I've never thrown a book out, EVER; but let's just say this one isn't making it on my bookshelf.

I found the story line boring and the characters sophomoric. I love to read and often re-read books, but I would never waste my time on this book again (I actually thought about just tossing it!). It was poorly written and aside from the R rated sexual content, I could see Junior High written all over it. Do yourself a favor and save your money on this book and others written by the Coopers. B-O-R-I-N-G!

My husband read this before me & kept nagging me to read it so we could discuss it. Well, at bedtime last night, I started reading it. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN AND FINISHED IT EARLY THIS MORNING!!!I am not going to write a long review as I do not want to give the book away. But, if you are looking for a BDSM romance, this is a nice change.This book evoked joy, happiness, humor, sorrow, crying, empathy, anger, & repulsion at times. "The Ex Games" is a book that will be reread for years to come...
