This was a surprise for sure. The stones are nice, the leather is nice, there was an extra plastic board as well. The bowls have a really nice turn to lock feature so they don't spill.And the bag is soft, but sturdy. Would absolutely buy again.

Go pieces/stones are plastic but feel good and decent. Nice bowls. Pieces are in plastic bags and then put in the corresponding bowls. The bag in the black bowl was torn open when received and it seems missing 5 black pieces (177 black vs 182 white). It won't affect playing but looks like I might get a returned item. Otherwise 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice Go game set. The stones are of excellent quality, made of melamine, but have the feel of being ceramic. I counted up the stones and my set had 184 black stones and 180 white stones. The synthetic leather board lays flat for the most part, but it will have some slight raised creases from being folded when stored. It doesn't really hinder the stones from being placed on the board though. The plastic bowls have a nice basket weave design. Quite exquisite actually. The lids do lock if you place the lid on the bowl and give it a slight twist. It also comes with a very basic instruction sheet, a second playing board which is just a thin plastic sheet with the grid lines printed on it, and the handy storage/carry bag.I'm very satisfied with this Go game. Everything is better than I had expected, especially with the quality of the stones and the bag makes it easy to take along. I think this was well worth it for the price I paid.
