MMG Brand Scooter 'Troubleshooting No Spark' Ignition Repair Kit Racing High Output Ignition Coil (2-Pin) + NGK Spark Plug C7HSA and Performance CDI for GY6 50cc

I just purchased a 200 cc DONGFANG DF-200 STG (actual size 168.9 cc GY6 Clone) scooter for my wife over the internet. The total price with shipping was $1200 and change. A great little scooter for the price. The only problem we had is a loss of power and timing between 3000 and 4000 rpm. The racing ignition kit was very simple to install. It took only 10 minutes to find, disconnect, and install all three components. What a huge difference in engine performance. It started right away and the effects were noticed immediately (that purr of a engine with correct timing) . The idle was smooth and the throttle response was crisp, and without hesitation. I haven't had the chance to test W.O.T. yet but i have no doubt it will perform 100% better than OEM. Great product! functions as designed and described....for $29 you won't regret it.

Works as advertised!

The CDI Worked for the first few days and then crapped out. It wouldn’t start the moped and when it would, it would just make the engine bog out(left me stranded a few times). I hooked the stock cdi back up and it would start right up. Had to return.Update- a few weeks later and the stock cdi is still going strong, starting the moped right up and not leaving me stranded. Look elsewhere for a different “racing cdi”

Coil wire and plug was all that worked for me

I took a chance on this, and the CDI stopped working after 1 trip on my moped. Replaced with the stock CDI as others have stated, and runs like a champ again. Save money and just replace your spark plug and coil wire if needed.

Cdi last about two minutes went bad had to use old one .The cdi no good.

I just to make sure this is the right one for 250ccs scooter

CDI did not work for 150cc Chinese scooter as stated.
