Works fine on my Coleman 4000-watt 8HP Briggs & Straton engine
Fairly easy to install with correct metric bolts. Metric bolts are not included. You will need to purchase them at a hardware store.I installed the carburetor, fueled it up and it started on the second pull. Had to make a little adjustment on carburetor and it is running good.

My original carburetor is SAE. The one I received is metric. I had to hunt down some metric bolts.
As mentioned above, I had to hunt down a few metric bolts to mount this carb. Bottom line is the carb was easily adjusted and the generator starts easy and runs perfectly. Great value for a great product. Thanks A-C!!

Changes
Fine in most respects. No O-ring included to mate to draft tube, but should be TWO, AND, about 3 bolts. This is because the carb has had the smallest of design changes, which makes the new version, changing from imperial to metric, not mate flawlessly with the older generators... making a direct swap-in, a great difficulty, and a 15 minute task into at least couple hours, sourcing these most simple of parts. 2 O-rings and 3 additional imperial screws or metric equivalents NEED to be included. I had an entire autoshop arsenol of parts at hand and managed to merely kludge this to work on the owner's older (pre-metricized,) version of the generator, when it's supposed to be a direct swap. Be Forewarned. His RV was ~ 2008. Otherwise, fine enough product at a fair price.

Did not match the carb on my generator.
The carb was not an exact match for the one I was replacing and did not fit properly. I was unable to get the generator going again with this carb. I destroyed the carb trying to modify it to get it to fit.

Not Fully Compatible, Requires Modifications
As others have mentioned, this kit doesn't honor the original dimensions that mate to the generator, and replaces those with Metric. So, things are needlessly complicated.I had to add an O-ring where the air filter tube attaches to get what felt like a decent seal (and keep the existing one, so a total of two). Rather than source the replacement screws (one of which is a specialty fastener) and try to cobble something together, I drilled and re-tapped the carborator output so it could use the original screws. Note that you will need a blind tap for one of the two holes. I just ground the tip off a cheap HF tap. The hole does go through, but you have no excess clearance for the point. Double check to be sure, but I think it was a 1/4-20 thread, and definitely a common tap.
