Wonderful Ceiling Fan
Great Fan, wonderful quality and nice looks -- very effective for a bedroom sized room. Dissatisfied however that the description of the fan did not clearly enough specify thetypre of switch necessary. (I ordered the wrong switch when I ordered the fan.

Minka is quality brand.... but this makes a noticeable hum.
We are pretty sensitive to noise when sleeping. We bought 6 very expensive fans for our new home, we decided to go with a couple of Minka Fans (2) . This one bought on Amazon, and another Minka bought at a local lighting store makes a humming noise. This model, is a bit less noisy then the other Minka... The other fans are Fanimation brand, yes expensive, but "dead quiet" no noise at all except the movement of air. I believe the reason is... that the Minka fans are AC powered vs DC powered Minka. So if your very sensitive to noise, stay away from this fan..
