Sasaki Drama 45-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 8

I liked this flatware set enough to purchase two. This unique set will add drama to your place settling, projecting a distinctive, modern appearance. Handles have a matte finish, to minimize fingerprints, while the remaining surface area is polished to a mirror. Each piece feels substantial, well designed, and balanced upon use. Weight is evenly distributed, making the set pleasurable to handle and stationary in transit. The serrated edge on the knife makes it sharp enough to cut meat. On occasion, I do see spots on the surface upon removal from the dishwasher (see photo). Dishwasher spots are normal, and easily removed by rubbing over them with your finger and a little baking soda.

I was looking for a modern contemporary flatware set that was affordable and yet stayed true to its modern/contemporary feel. This set is beautiful! I took a bit of a risk since I could not find reviews anywhere about this particular product. I have seen other Sasaki sets prior and it was all based on the consumer style preference. The handle is a brushed stainless steal finish and the top is a polished finish. They are a good weight, not too heavy. They have a somewhat thin handle, but not flimy.Also, if you are looking for the modern/contemporary sleek look you will definitely find it with this set but keep in mind that they are actually quite large pieces. I would probably use the salad fork for everyday use and not the dinner fork. The serving set included with the flatware set is also just as stunning.

I followed the directions and put in dishwasher prior to 1st use. A few pieces got marred, scratched and something resembling a stain. Was considering purchasing another set, however I've changed my mind. Must rinse under hot water after the dishwasher to get water spots of off utensils.

This silverware is so modern clean line which is exactly what I was looking for. Very nice quality and feels nice to hold. We get so many compliments when company is over.

Unique, very well made and modern silverware that is still very functional. I highly recommend these. You will love them.

The set is dramatic looking, but horrible to use. The spoons are actually as deep as they look and do not fit your mouth well. They are shaped more like measuring spoons. I considered returning them, but will just donate them to charity instead.

Came with 2 dinner forks and 14 salad forks. I'm disappointed as I needed the set for dinner tomorrow.
