Difficult to light. Doesn't stay lit in a slight wind. And there is no way this is ok to cook on. Turned marshmallows greyish color. Not worth the $.

They get hot, but they turn your marshmallows black. I would not buy these for s’mores.

Brought this with on my ATV trip and it was made for a fun trail side break! It was small enough for me to stick into one of the side compartments. I was able to get a small fire going within minutes and its not just a good s'more, the hot dogs came out pretty good as well! The clean up was the easiest part, literally just threw the cap on and into my bag it went! Would 100% recommend!!!

Really happy with this purchase. Tree Free Fire gives you all the benefits of an outdoor bonfire without the hard work. It's easy to use, and sets a great atmosphere for any outdoor gathering of friends or family. It can absolutely be used anywhere, from camping trips, to the beach, to your porch or patio. Though I got this for myself, I will absolutely buy one again as a gift for friends!

This is a really cool way to have a little fire going, without having to chop some logs. However, we tried to roast marshmallows and they took a long time and turned out a strange blackish color (kinda smokey) instead of roasted. Wouldn't recommend for smores.

So, first impression wasn’t that good. The item was damaged and not from shipping as the box was not damaged. So that means the item was packaged up already dented as presented in the photo. Second as others have stated, it took a while to get started. It seemed to take a while to get each block to light. Lastly, the flames only rose about 3-4 inches, so really only 1 person can roast a marshmallow at a time and you basically had to hold it right above the can. It was like using a candle to roast your marshmallows.

I was hesitant to buy because of the price point, but these are worth every penny! We live in the city so s’mores with the kids are generally out of the question… not anymore!We bought one and have used it several different times… I am surprised how long it has lasted… definitely buying a 3 pack when our first one finally burns out.

It’s a bit like if a candle and a campfire had a child- and I actually love that. Took it on a sunset picnic, it was bigger and brighter than the candles we already had so we switched this. And when the sun went away, you get the flickering light that a campfire gives you which is nice!
