Very disappointed
I wasn't expecting much for about £15 but I did think that at least it would be playable. They've used a vertical screen and orientated it horizontally, so the viewing angle is unbearable (different for each eye). The scrolling is not smooth and the colours are glaring. I like the style and I thought it would have some potential (seeing as a £6 Pi Zero can do the job) but this is horrendous. The volume slider also would not move on this one. I've tried 3 different types of this handheld now and all have varying degrees of horrible screens, horrible buttons and horrible emulation. Stay well clear.

Not for serious gamers but a fun little console
If your a serious gamer then look at something else, however, if you want a few mins just passing the time or you have a young relative you want to get into games then this is fine. The sound is what you expect from a cheap 8 bit handheld console as are the graphics and lcd display, the display is a fixed brightness and veiwing angles are not to bad. Most games play fine with just the odd glitchy one.Expect some games to be repeated and there to be a mix of known titles and homebrew games. The D-pad and function buttons work fine on the console and actually dont feel to bad to use. Some games may show a little button lag but its nothing too bad.Build is what you expect for a cheap handheld, its light, plastic and cheap feeling. There is a seperate wired controller for 2 player games, it feels as cheap as the main console, the D-pad feels supprisingly good though, with only the function buttons being a bit of a let down, that said its more than usable. There are no instructions on how to play the games you just have to work out what to do yourself. At £17.55 its a little overpriced and there are many versions of this out there that are 5 or 6 pounds less.Overall, its a fun little console if you want that 8 bit retro trip down memory lane, use for an Xmas stocking filler/secret santa or to give to young relatives so they dont break your expensive £300 handheld.I like it, just dont expect top line gaming and you wont be dissapointed.

Brilliant retro gaming for kids!
Look, this ain't a Switch. It's not an expensive modern console, nor is it a fancy high-end emulation station. It is, however, a brilliant way to give your kids some fun, entertaining access to games from the golden age. There are a surprising amount of good games on this thing. I'm loving 2 player Bubble Bobble all over again.Being honest, the screen for this is really difficult to see on for two player, but you're supposed to connect it to the TV for that. It's not expensive enough to worry about giving to your kids but it's good enough for loads of nostalgia and playing together. I love it and so do my kids. The plastic isn't top drawer, it's all a bit creaky, but if you're not expecting that when you buy, then you're daft at this price. It's cheap, cheerful fun.

Brought back childhood memories!
The product is quite small and handy. Loved the games. Used to play them in my childhood. The TV connection cable could have been longer but I have loads of av cables so it was not a problem. Have seen people complain about picture quality on tv but don't understand that it's costing £15 and one can't expect quality of a gaming console or Nintendo. Absolutely satisfied for the price that was paid :)

Good memories of retro
We had fun at home to play retro games with family. Fair quality when we connect to the large screen. Bring good memories of old games.
