Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have numerous "gray" cutting mats and they are great, but thin. I needed a larger one, but only had the "gray mat brand) available. So, Amazon here I come. Searched, read, and choose. I chose the large 24x36 "Green" mat and it is PERFECT (in my world). Three Ply thick, heavy duty, great layout with the 1/2" squares and one side has "three" degree cutting lines (30,45,60) and the other side has "only" three degree cutting lines (larger cutting degrees). NOT, one side with three lines and the other side a zillion cutting lines. My table was 23" wide, went to Home Depot (NO Lowes!) an they happily cut me a special cut for my mat (48x48") from a 3/16 lament piece of wood plywood. Fits perfect, Happy Happy am I.

Dude! Self healing is the bees knees! It’s so nice being able to make cut after cut without being hard on your blades and it’s like the mat doesn’t even care! Not like the old ones where you’d use it for a day and it looked like it served a life in prison sentence. Needless to say I love it and I’m sure you will too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was a gift. It is what the gift receiver wanted.Excellent quality. Great packaging so that it did not get bent or folded. I would definitely buy this product again.

I didn't know about self healing but the mat works excellent as a backer for cutting fabrics, vinyls, and foam for crafts. It's excellent quality and I like the measurements and angles printed on it. It's also a great size.

It's ok for the price

I needed a new mat and this one is so much better than my old one. This self-healing cutting mat is wonderful!! The shipping was really great! It was shipped flat, when it came out of the box it was perfectly flat, no odor, heavy and ready to use!I love it, it exceeded my expectations!

Excellent cutting mat in both imperial and metric with 30/45/60 degree angles. So far seems like a good quality mat, and it's heavy enough to not slip around. Great with a rolling cutter. Only downside is that the surface scratches easily when using shears.

I didn't know how much I needed this mat. I've used it for so many things while I'm renovating. Heavy, well made and inexpensive. Hasn't warped a bit. Couldn't believe how durable it is.
