I have been use 2% thoriated or 2% lanthanated . I wanted to try these because they where the same price when usually cost more. I have to say I really like them. If they remain the same price it will be my new go to. I just want to have one type so the 2% Lanthanated was going to be the replacement for 2% Thoriated, which the industry is slowly doing. But I can say these are really good

Work well had been using lt blue but these a better on dc

Can't complain for the price. $20 for 1/16 The other prices jump quite a bit with looking at 3/32 or 1/8 though. Still good tungsten though.

theses are amazing on aluminium. I sharpen to a point with my balance set to 30 on my sip hg2500p and it welds lovely
