This brand and the stick in the shade will always be my favorite foundation ever upon ever and I hate that it's getting so much harder to find because I think they're probably getting rid of it unfortunately so I'm trying to buy up as many as I can find still. I mean it does not come off you can definitely tell it has SPF in it it's wonderful and it's definitely buildable too

This is a great foundation that gives you medium coverage. I used this foundation during the summer and it did not feel heavy or kicking on my skin. I was even able to blend this with my other foundation to accommodate for tanning in the summer.. It stays on all day without any sort of a primer and it’s lightweight. The color is Rich Caramel.

Foundation was a little yellow, I couldn’t really find a good neutral tone, went on smooth, blends well

I normally don’t like wearing a lot of makeup or really any but as I’ve gotten older, my skin has gotten splotchy. This foundation stick is great for those who don’t like feeling like they’re wearing makeup, as it’s very smooth and lightweight. This color also matches my skin tone perfectly 💯☀️

Love this....matches me perfectly....I am flawless all day and it actually doesn't leave me oily like some reviews stated it did.I went on the actual Black Opal website first to try to determine which color I was....The color swatch was not the greatest since it just showed about 6 different shades of women and it was computerized. So I went to YouTube and typed in each color that I thought was about my shade. I found several videos where women purchased 2 or 3 sticks and demonstrated the colors on their faces. This is what helped me pick my color the most.If you have yellow undertones and are of a medium brown complexion this probably will work for you (you can always go to youtube and check out how the colors look on other women)Pros: It lasts all day, It leaves a flawless complexion, did NOT break my skin out (THE BIGGEST CONCERN TO ME)...It did NOT leave my face looking shiny (like some reviews I read...maybe it is because I didn't cake my face with the product, or maybe because my skin is only oily in my T-Zone) either way if you are worried about having a oily/shiny face simply prime your face with a face primer and put a little powder on top. This by far has been the BEST match for my skin. I no longer have to try to blend make-up together to get my shade. I've tried, Mac (which is really heavy and also made me break out), mary-kay, Iman, even Loreal and mabeline tru-match. All three make-up lines I paid a lot more for. I hope they never discontinue this shade.*P.S. the concealer recommended for this shade from the Black Opal website is called "Toast," I also purchased this and they blend so well together!!!Cons: N/A

I was looking for a foundation after I ran out of my previous one and saw this online. I decided why not as I know of Black Opal being a good black woman makeup line. Based on my experience of using this product I will give the pros and cons I found with using this:Pros:1) Good Coverage- no seriously, as someone with hyper pigmentation thanks to acne it completely hides the marks and I can say I am happy with the coverage.2) It's reasonably priced- hey it speaks for itself.3) Good ranges for darker women- As a Black Woman I am always thankful to find any products that have a variety of darker shades.Cons:1) The Oil Factor- If you have Oily skin BE AWARE IT WILL MAKE YOUR FACE OILIER. I am not kidding when I said it will make you an oil factory. I was shocked at how oily my face looked after two hours at work, and this is while in the air con!! I have to constantly dab at my face thanks to the amount of oil shine this thing gives off.2) TOO much comes off at one time- As with the positive coverage review, there's also the negative aspect. This comes off way too thick on your face. My face was looking reddish brownish thanks to how thick this was. I had to wipe off quite a bit of it after I was finished applying it to my face as it was just too much.Personally speaking, as an oily prone skin individual I'd say that while it works for the time being, it's not suited for my skin. If you have dry skin, maybe this might work better for you but for me, the coverage didn't make up for the oil shine I received unfortunately.
