It is a nice collection of rocks. They are TINY. My 4 year old loves them. My biggest complaint is that there are more rocks pictured on the little poster than there are rocks in the collection. He like to match the rocks to the poster and sometimes gets upset that there isn’t a rock for every picture. My other complaint is that several of the rocks are vastly different than their pictures making it hard to identify them. I do realize there are variations in each stone, but some look nothing like the picture. I took a picture of the rocks in the tray befor we got them out so I could make sure we got them all back on the right places and that I was teaching him the right name for each rock. Now all it needs is a pronunciation guide lol.

My toddler loves rocks so I got this set for her. They are wayyyy tinier than I expected and could potentially be choking hazards. I had to throw them away. They’re like the size of a dime.

I love this and I can’t wait to give it to my son for Christmas. I definitely want to buy the one that is a set up from this one now because it will most definitely be worth the money. The rocks are great and arnt to small.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. She was very excited to see how many different rocks were in the package. She has spent hours examining and sharing her experience with them. Now she wants to go rock hunting. It was definitely worth the price and I would purchase again.

I bought this set to see what my presidium gem tester 2 pointed to on the different minerals. Picking up the citrine I knew right away it wasn't a real one. It was warm to the touch, not cold like real stones are. It didn't test as citrine either. Some of the stones tested correctly that could be tested on the gem tester. The tester only meant to test certain families of minerals. But with the citrine not testing real I can't use most of the rocks for the tests I intended. For kids, the stones should probably be glued in their places. This was very inexpensive so you get what you pay for. Still might be fun for kids to start. Just supervise them.

Me gustó que trae un poster con las piedras a todo color que puede servir de guía para quien inicia en este pasatiempo o colección, pero las piedras son muy pequeñas. Si las quieres engarzar entonces están bien, creo yo.

The gems were exactly what I was expecting however the identification chart is either missing or just the back of the box that has pictures of the gems that “may be included in your box”. Some of the gems don’t look like the pictures so you have to assume which gem is what based on how similar it looks to the back of the box.

Not worth the money. The box arrived with all the rocks having settled to the bottom. They do not stay in the display case during shipping. Very poor product design. Now it’s impossible to know which rocks are which. Tried contacting the seller and their only solution was to return it. So now I have to waste the time shipping it back and trying to buy a new gift in time for my kids birthday. I should have checked the other reviews as this is a common problem.
