It works like a charm
It works like a charm. It's very sharp and detailed but you need some light in front of you so as to keep the blue glare from coloring the natural shade of your face. It's hard to beat for the money.

the frames would be better, I think
This thing works ok, but I've got a hard time believing it's functioning at 30 FPS. If there were a way to scale it down to 720, the frames would be better, I think. As it is, I think it only functions at 1080p.Not horrible, but some more software options would've been nice.I also had no problems with my software install, but the software is almost useless.

Waste of Time
Tried to load software several times but it wouldn't show up as a video device on My Computer window. Instead, it showed as "Unknown Device" and would not open. I returned the item and had to uninstall the unused software because the program caused my sound icon to vanish both from the taskbar and the task manager's sounds menu. Far from "plug and play"; more trouble than it's worth.

papalook and Amazon bite the big one
The design and quality are nice, but the software would not work. the software is on a mini CD and I tried to read it in 4 different computers to no avail. More importantly if Amazon had a way to contact the seller I am certain he would have emailed working drives,,, couldn't find on the net either, Moral of the story papalook may inconvenience you and Amazon if your listening you have yet to impress me.

Not working with Skype
This camera shows good video in AMCAP but the camera is not recognized by Skype and the video in Skype starts off near normal at top and then just looks like a wet picture that is a smeared streak down the screen.

Need improvement
Failed to work from the box . Had to get a new product . Will not recommend . Better get the more expensive stuff
