Some design choices let this one down
Dissapointing as this is wonderfully made. The bit retention mechanism is what lets it down. There's a rubber O-ring in front of the hex bit holder, that's where all your retention comes from. No magnet or anything. Once that O-ring wears you'll have no bit retention.In addition because they've used the space for the o-ring in front of the bit holder, it only engages with at most a quarter of the bit so it isn't held in positively.It's a shame as this is the perfect size for a key-chain or pocket tool kit, and there aren't many 1/4 drivers in this size category. But I can't put my trust in the bit holder itself.At a ÂŁ25 price point, I'm returning this, but if you only intend to use this for light duty applications, it is a very nice package.
