Get the right size
The FlipBelt works great if you get the right size. Measure at the level of your hipbones and choose a size that will be stretching a few inches at that length. My son measures 29" and a small is right for him. I measure 41" and XL is right for me. The physical measurement of the XXL is 42", so don't choose that size unless your hip bones measure at least 43" or 44"!

The Only Comfortable Running Belt
I hesitated to buy this because of the price but I am glad I did. I already tested it out yesterday running a couple of miles with my iPhone 8 Plus in the zipper pouch and it didn't bounce around at all. I am a guy with a 32 waist and the Large size fit perfectly; tight enough to keep things in place but not so tight that it was restrictive.I compared quite a few other models before deciding on this one. Here are some of the reasons I chose this over all the others;ComfortThis belt is made of polyester and lycra and has no rough edges that will chafe on your skin so it can be worn underneath your clothing.AppearanceI bought the solid black color so that it will go with pretty much whatever I choose to wear running. It blends right in with my solid black running shorts and due to the smooth material it can be worn underneath clothing to avoid the nerdy fanny pack appearance of some belts.SecurityI feel more comfortable with the zipper model considering the cost of my phone. I also like the little key lanyard built inside one of the pockets, to keep keys secure. I also think that hiding the belt with my phone and valuables underneath my clothing may deter potential theft. After running for 35 minutes, the side of the belt that was against my skin was a bit damp but seemed to wick the moisture away effectively enough that I couldn't see any signs of moisture getting on to my phone or case.Overall, I am very happy that I bought this belt and I think it will make it more enjoyable to run as I don't have to carry my phone in my hand like I used to. It will also be a good place to keep a house key, credit card and small snack maybe too without wearing bulky clothes.

I've seen the original years ago but thought it was just another useless "gadget". The original has no front zipper
Michael's wife here: I bought this belt because I was tired of carrying my iphone 6 in one hand and keys in the other. Depending on what I wear, sometimes I just don't have enough pockets. I've seen the original years ago but thought it was just another useless "gadget". The original has no front zipper. This new one does. Althought it was $10 more (I may be wrong on the exact $ amount), having the zipper gave me a sense of security. The front zipper I put my ID, debit card, and cash. The other slots I have my car keys (key ring with key fob, another car alarm remote, 5 office and house keys), my dog's poo poo bags, my iphone 6 with a slim case. I was skeptical at first as to whether the belt will actually hold my stuff in place. I kept patting myself every 2 minutes lol. Everything stayed exactly where I had them. Once I put the belt on I forget that it's there. If your top is loose enough your belt won't even be noticeable. This belt was actually an exchange for the correct size. I'm a large. But I read some reviews that I should order one size smaller so it'll be snug. So I ordered the medium. I could barely slip it on. Good luck trying to stick anything in the slots. Maybe you'll be able to stick a piece of paper. So I exchanged for the large. Cost me $5 for shipping but I really wanted this belt so I sucked it up. I would recommend this item. I've already recommended this belt on my FB page. Got some friends sold on this product.

Significant upgrade from standard FlipBelt, but poor quality control and a lot of defects
This is an update. I’ve purchased a number of these and many were defective with missing stitching allowing things to fall out. If you get a good one they are great. This is a significant upgrade from the standard FlipBelt as it's about 1” wider and more stable on your hips. It's the same high quality construct which is much better than any of the competitors I've seen. My only complaint is that the zipper to the pocket is too short for the pocket so you can't take advantage of the pocket's generous size. You can fill the pocket with a lot of small items, but can't fit an iPhone plus or max through the opening without risking breaking the zipper. The zipper doesn't stretch with the rest of the belt so they need to make it wider.

Zipper Broke After 6 Months!
I purchased the belt in October and now in April the zipper has broken and it is no longer usable. I know there is a warranty, but there is no information on this on the package or anywhere on Amazon that I can see. I thought it would last longer than 6 months. When I did use it I really liked it. The front zipper pocket was very snug for my Motorola Pure Edition cell. I also stored a house key and chapstick while I ran. It did not jiggle, but it did slide up depending on what I wore. But, it did not bother me too much.I need something to hold my phone while I run, so I will shop around for other brands. However, if I do find another that would fit my needs I may have to purchase another FlipBelt and I would just expect it to last around 6 months. At this point I would not highly recommend a purchase to a friend.

Good design, okay quality.
I like the belt for anything up to a 7 or 8 mile run. The material is very comfortable, the sizing is okay but as everyone says if you're on the lower edge of a size then go down.Where I have an issue is that the seams are coming unstitched. There's an inch or so to one side of the zipper pocket between the big lock stitch at the end of the zipper and the vertical line of stitching that closes off the pocket that pulled out after 2 or 3 runs.Additionally I can see stitching loose on all the non-zipped pockets at the lock stitching. THis isn't as big a deal, some thread pulling is to be expected if you actually use those openings, I use flip belts own water bottle in mine. All in all this zipper version flip belt isn't made to the standards as the original flip belt I bought a few years ago which has thousands of miles on it and minimal wear and tear showing.Or maybe mine was made late Friday before a 3 day weekend.

Great solution for large phones!
Great product, fits my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 easily and the zip compartment makes sure it doesn't go anywhere! Used this on two 5K runs so far and honestly forgot I was wearing it, doesn't bounce or chafe and it's really comfortable. I'm a UK size 10-12 and I bought a medium which I wear on my hips

Worth it!
I’m not sure why I never bought this in the first place, but I didn’t expect to rely on a waist belt as much as I have. Originally I had a Nathan waist belt which served me well…until my phone started to work its way out of the front compartment whilst running and almost flipped my phone out during a run (thankfully I caught it in time). Then the join stitches around the edges started to come undone and I realised it was time to retire it and find a replacement.I’m glad I chose to get the Flipbelt. First, it’s much wider than the Nathan waist belt I previously had, so it was easy to get my phone in and out of it on the move, and I could carry much more than before, including a cap I was able to fold down for those times when the weather suddenly changed. Next, it was a comfortable fit - not tight and not loose. I’m a size 16 around the waist and opted for the XL size and it was a perfect fit, just the right amount of loose and fitted. It didn’t move around or ride up when I ran. Based on previous experience, I got the zipped version, which has a zipped compartment in the front but the rest of it has open access points. I have relatively long arms but I usually have to twist the belt to get to the access points but to be honest, doing this on the move isn’t much of a hassle.Don’t pay twice-just get the Flipbelt. You won’t regret it.

Brilliant
Simple product but brilliant. A bit pricey for what you get, but then again, a friend of mine (who is a regular marathon runner) has had his for the last six years and it's still going strong.I clip my car key onto the clip holder and I zip my phone into the pocket and away running I go without any fears of losing anything. You don't even feel it on you and nothing is bouncing up and down in your pockets.I am a 34" waist and I ordered the Large size and it fits perfectly.

Sizing seems to be on the large side
The product itself is fine, but the advertised sizing is on the large side - the Large is not a UK 12-14 (US 10-12) but more like a 14-16. I would consider sizing down even if you want to wear around your hips. If possible I would try to find a shop that sells them so you can try for yourself. Great product but needs more guidance on fit.

Simple but effective
I've only just received this and been for a short run, but first impressions are good. It stays in place and is a good fit, and my phone and keys felt nice and secure. Haven't yet tried with any more in it, but it feels like it will work well.Worth noting that only one opening has a zipper, and it opens into an isolated pocket, which is big enough for a large-ish phone (my HTC One M9 fits). I had mistakenly thought all four openings would have zips, opening into one big pocket - I think they way they've done it probably works better though. I probably won't use the zipped pocket for my phone as it's a bit more awkward to get in and out, as the zips obviously have no stretch, unlike the other openings. Would be ideal for smaller items e.g. keys/money.
