I was very disappointed that the collection had not been remastered and were not HD. It's like I'm watching a show without wearing my glasses. it's a shame because the animation is quite lovely. The DVD's were manufactured in Malaysia in 2002 and it shows.

So the first set I purchased a couple years ago. The quality isn’t high definition but is just fine for me and the littles. Recently one disk started where it wouldn’t play one movie on it, mind no scratches on the disk and then it just stopped recognizing that disk after backing out and trying to play the disk a few times.It was cheaper to purchase another set vs getting just those three movies separate. So far all the disks work but so far two disks are switched with images / titles vs proper movies. I noticed some other customers experienced this as well. The first set I had all were labeled correctly.

Just arrived today. Put in the first disc to watch Grave of Fireflies but the disc was mislabeled and had other movies on it. Not a big deal but slightly inconvenienced that I had to cross out & write the correct movie titles on the discs. The first movie I chose is currently playing. Good audio, okay visuals, and the subtitles are ....meh...sporadically working some of the time. I will update more if there are any more issues with the rest of the discs & movies. Can't really complain too much, as it is 17 movies for the price of 2 or 3 movies.

Gave as a gift they love it

I love this the subtitles aren’t very good but the audio is. The only problem is I have one disc that was very laggy.
