Did Alpyn silently change formulas? Not wild nettle anymore, the color of the serum and consistency is different. Went downhill, but costs the same. Will not be buying this product anymore. This used to be a favorite

This is a 3.5 star rating. It works well stand alone. I used it on my neck with no other product except moisturizer that had been applied about an hour before. It gummed up and rolled off in little sticky balls when Makeup Primer was used over it. Makeup smoother or wrinkle smoother? I chose no Primer with this product over my trouble spots and Primer without this product over most of my face.

The Alpyn Beauty Firming Serum came well packaged in a box and glass dropper bottle. It's a beige liquidy serum that glides over face with its soothing properties. It absorbs and dries down quickly leaving skin feeling soft and supple without any greasy residue. It's a great option if you're planning on going out and want fabulous grease-free skin. I use it in the pm and am resulting in smooth firm healthy looking complexion. The serum has an earthy scent that reflects a natural product. I rather like it and appreciate that it's void of artificial fragrance. It's the kind of serum I love putting on. It has made a difference in my skin. I am a nerd about nettles - they're my favorite wild green to forage for - I cook with them all the time and am constantly touting their nutritional benefits to people. So when I saw this face serum offered, I HAD to try it! It comes in a beautiful box and a nice glass jar with a dropper. The serum itself isn't the prettiest - it's beige and milky. But it works! I've been using a few drops, usually in the morning, and following with my regular moisturizer. It does make my skin feel firmer and tighter - but not in a dry or stretched way, if that makes sense? We live on a hobby farm and have baby goats being born this time of year, so I'm constantly waking up to check on my pregnant mommas and their babies - this absolutely helps perk up my overtired zombie face, lol. There is a faint natural earthy scent that I actually quite like, I can't stand artificial fragrances and I'm glad they didn't try to cover up the scent by adding any. The price is a bit much, but since it's made with clean, wildcrafted ingredients sourced in Wyoming I think the high price is justified. Thankfully the glass dropper makes it easy to use just a few drops at a time with no waste, so the bottle should last a long time.
