Works perfectly
Being new to soldering, I was surprised it was so thin, I wasnt sure I liked it... until I used it. Definitely well designed for the task.

Great price, easy to use, size is great to hold while desoldering, durable but can cut with scissors.

Works OK, wicking action could be better.
This worked "good enough" for my de-soldering tasks. But I found the solder didn't flow well or as quickly into the wick's braids vs. a name brand wick. The braids should be a little looser to work better. I ended up having to make more heating passes of the wick to pick up the solder, which increases risk of damaging the circuit board electrical pads.

Excellent product! The most absorbing solder wick I have ever used! Will buy again when I need to order or when I run out.

Absorbed Rosin Core solder perfectly
Cut off about 1/4" piece and held it with a pair of hemostats. Melted some Rosin Core Solder onto a Teflon pad and applied soldering iron to wick placed over the solder. It instantly absorbed the solder.Worked flawlessly!

Not impressed
I previously bought this before and it was fine both in quantity and price, but the second time I ordered it the entire length of both braids had oxidation, visible oxidation on it which made it very difficult to use at best. I couldn't very well return it since I had already cut a piece off, and what's worse is the two rolls were already exchanged for the two incorrect rolls they first sent. Get it together.

Doesn't wick.
This solder braid is bad for wicking. My soldering iron melts it. (Update, turns out my soldering iron was too hot.)
