Good enough, especially for the price
I haven't tested the accuracy, so I'm not answering that one. As others have said, the display is hard to read except in bright light, and the display keeps resetting back to Celsius when it's plugged in again. But I can live with that. I usually read it using the app so that bypasses problems reading the display. The Smart Life app might be a bit quirky, but once you get used to it, it's fine.I might even get more of these to monitor other rooms in the house, especially near the thermostat, if I can figure out where to plug in a spare USB power adapter (not provided with the unit). It's interesting that in some rooms, there is a lot more variation in temp than I expected, while others not so much, even though the heat is controlled by thermostat (when it's cold out). I guess the best way to maintain a constant temp throughout the house would be to run the fan all the time, but my furnace doesn't have a separate fan control, and that would waste a lot of energy. When the furnace is running, the temp in the rooms I am monitoring are close to what I expect -- but some rooms cool down or heat up differently than others when the furnace isn't blowing the air around. Now that I know, maybe I can find a way to fix that, and use this to see how well it's fixed.

Works but 32F is lower limit
I have two of these. Wish the description would have stated that the lower limit is 32F. It is specified in the manual but not in the description. Disappointed it won't read temps below 32F. Otherwise works okay.

Great remote thermometer
I love this thermometer. It is easy to read and includes the time on it. I love that I can access it from anywhere I am so I can make sure the house is a good temperature for my pets. It was easy to set up and use. I do wish it synced with Alexa better. The Alexa app only shows the humidity and not the temperature. It isn't a big deal cause I can open the Smart Life app, but it would be nice if it would be able to use the same app for all of my smart devices.

Does not register temperature below freezing.
This thermometer does not report below freezing. Who makes a thermometer that does register below freezing? It keeps the config if power is lost. The WiFi range is ok, not great not bad. Note all these types of devices ONLY use 2.4Ghz. The LCD is a bit dim. It uses very little power. It is easy to setup in the smart life app. The flashing light is on the back. The first one I bought had to be returned. It only worked for two hours. The new has worked for a few days now.

Not as advertised
Sensor is easy to set up and gives you temperature and humidity on the sensor, and the app, however you have to be on the same wifi network according to the directions to use the app, this defeats the purpose of a remote sensor. The display on the sensor is very hard to read You can link the sensor to Alexa, however only humidity will display in Alexa, no temperature. Sensor will not work for me for remote monitoring, returned the next day.

Nice, simple temperature monitor
I purchase this to be able to monitor my 2nd home when I am not there. I have only had this for a couple weeks. So far, I am pleased with it.I was hoping to mount it to the wall, but with the power cable coming straight out the back, this is not practical. Had to set it on the kitchen counter.Another issue I ran into was using the Tuya app. IT DID NOT ALLOW YOU TO SET ALERT TEMPERATURE LIMITS. Doing some more reading reviews and Q&A's, YOU MUST USE A DIFFERENT APP. I downloaded "Smart Life". This app looks just like the Tuya app, but did allow me to program temperature alert limits.Overall still a good monitor system with no monthly cost.

Does not work with Smartthings routines
I initially loved this produce. Easy to set up, easy to read and seemed to connect to my Smartthings hub. However the temperature variations would not trigger routines to control fan for ventilation. Attempted to remove and re pair with hub however after removal it would not reconnect. If you are just looking for accurate temperature readings this will work for you but if you are looking to trigger events through routines based on temp/humidity look elsewhere.

Does what it's supposed to but maybe not what you want.
I've owned this for about 4 months. This model suffers from some of the same minor issues that all Tuya types seem to have. However, recently they've apparently fixed some of them. One great example is that while you can set it to Fahrenheit, if you asked Google or Alexa for the temperature, it was ALWAYS in Celsius. Now, it reads the temp in Fahrenheit but the temp that used to show on the screen of my Google Nest is now gone - it just spins until it times out. Still, it's progress and shows they are trying to improve it. Plus, the fact that it's not battery powered is also a great feature.Don't expect this to trigger any routines through Alexa or a Google Nest Hub or Mini. Like the other Tuya versions, this will not trigger anything. In fact, when creating routines, this doesn't even show up. As far as I know, the only thing that will is the Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor. It's pricey but it will trigger routines based on temperature, humidity, etc..All I really wanted was to be able to ask the temperature or humidity of various rooms so this works very well for that. If they can fix the display, well that's just gravy.I definitely recommend this for anyone who just wants the info read to them.
