Worth buying for all the extra fittings

I bought this so I could remove the valve core on a mini-split ac/heating system I'm installing. I think it will get the job done. I've so far used it on only one of the three linesets. When I tried to remove the second valve core, the head of the little core tool, that you need to twist, unscrewed from the shaft and I wasn't able to get the core out. I'm going to try putting some red lock tight on it to see if that will do the trick.I really liked the price - about $30 cheaper than other tools and it comes with lots of adapters and fittings so it can be used both on 5/16" and 1/4" fittings. That being said, if you have to add the adapter for the 5/16" fitting, it adds another 1/2" to 3/4" to the length of the tool and that might be a problem working in tight spaces. For example, the connections on my mini-split are angled downward and I'm not sure if I'll have enough room to remove the bottom core without unbolting the unit from the pad so I can lift it up - otherwise the tool is so long I cannot connect it and have room to pull the "plunger" of the core remover out far enough before it hits the pad.

Easy to use

Good product for do it yourself. Stem remover is poor quality. Had to use players to remove a valve stem

NOT Acceptable tools.1. A few products were short shipped.2. A wrong 5/16" adapter shipped.3. The 5/16" adapter LEAKS... it's poorly made. Whoever designed and/or made certainly does NOT know this is for a high pressure R410A or R32 refrigerant , which it will escape/leak if they are just connect with thread. It caused me to loss refrigerant and burn my hands!!!!! BAD BAD BAD TOOL!!!!!
