We have a newer home with low-flow toilets required by our local building codes. The commodes put in by our builder are terrible. Either the low flow or a design flaw keeps the water from cleaning the bowl at all. After living in many previous homes, I can honestly say I've never had toilets this terrible.When I saw these Lysol Cleaner Discs, I thought I'd take a chance and see if there was anything (other than cleaning our toilets every day) that could help keep them clean. I don't care for bleach, so I didn't want to try anything containing it, and I certainly didn't want the toilet drop-ins that are just deodorizers.Both my husband and I watched and analyzed with a critical eye to see how these were working as days went by. We were both pleased, and surprised actually, to find that they were working fairly well! I would say I've seen about an 80% improvement (not 100% because, let's face it, sometimes it just HAS to be cleaned).I have used both the Lavendar and the Spring Waterfall, and have liked them both. I am the kind of person who generally buys fragrance-free cleaning products, and I do not buy air fresheners, because I don't want all those extra fragrances hanging around my house. Some of the Amazon reviews criticize the fragrances of these Lysol drop-ins, but I was again surprised to find that I liked them both. One of my toilets is in a tiny room, like a closet really, but the fragrance of the Lysol product is by no means overwhelming.The one thing that has me taking off a star from my rating is how easily these dissolve. The first one we used was directly in the flow of water, and was gone in two weeks. That's saying a lot for a low-flow toilet. We've had to experiment with how far out of the water flow we need to put these to acheive a balance between not dissolving to quickly and still doing the job of keeping the toilet clean.When I realized how well these did work, I put them on Subscribe & Save, because I don't want to be without them. They have truly helped with one of those small, annoying problems that you don't realize is so frustrating until it is fixed.

I purchased this cleaner on the Subscribe & Save program last month. In a household where the pets seem to think the toilet is a water bowl, we have to keep the lids down on out toilets. With the lids closed, keeping the bowls clean is a constant battle.I was a little disappointed that I had to attach the cleaners to the front of the bowl (since the incoming water comes only from the front and back) but it has not been a problem since the "handle" extends only a about 1/4" from the bowl.Overall, I am very happy with the results. The bowl has stayed clean. I am not really thrilled with the lavender scent. It is very intense for the first few days (and reminds me a little of a gas station restroom) but the smell becomes more subtle over time.I just reordered this will probably include these cleaners regularly as part of our Subscribe & Save order.

We moved into a new home and noticed the toilets get dirty quickly and need to be cleaned. We have 3 bathrooms and I bought one 2-pack and put these in two toilets. These two toilets are WAY cleaner than the toilet that doesn’t have one of these. Great purchase, but the scent is pretty strong at first

When you flush the bowl there is a little bit of the cleaner will be flushed together and that is how the cleaning function works. It cleans but it wasn’t strong enough. I thought I don’t need to clean the bowl as often as I do with it but I still need to use the bowl cleanser twice a week as usual.Scent was too strong at the beginning and I sneeze every time when I go into the bath room for the first two weeks since I have allergic rhinitis. It then gets lighter throughout the time. There was about two to three weeks of the time that scent was perfect and then it went away completely (no odor elimination).

I started using these because I was using 2 of the competitors gels stamps at the same time and it was just a waste of money, so I started using these along with some tank tablets and along with regular cleaning and it seems to be keeping the 'black creep' at bay for longer than before using these. I doubt anyone get's the creep like I get unless you live under the conditions that I live in. Hopefully that won't be for much longer if God is merciful.

I've tried a few different 'in the bowl or in the tank' toilet products over the years, and this is by far the most effective. It really does keep the bowl fresh looking and fresh smelling between full cleanings. The smell is NOT medicinal, unpleasant or too strong (and it doesn't completely smell like lavender to me either), it's just a good, clean/fresh smell. I tried some other scents when I couldn't locate lavender locally and came back to this particular scent because it's "just right".
