Great product easy to use compact reasonably priced. Every umbrella I've ever owned has broken one way or another and considering this (although not a rain umbrella) gets tossed around the backseat with things being thrown on it and not properly stored in it's protective sleeve that it has absolutely no damage. Nothing broken or bent, I purchase these as gifts. Purchased July 2021.

Works great but hard to close and store

Works great to block sun coming in from front windshield of my 98' Honda Civic. This and a smaller one I purchased elsewhere (for my rear window) both had that "new car smell", as in chemical, but that soon wore off.

Used on a 2020 Tesla Model 3.Like:1. Great concept to be able to fold a shade like an umbrella.2. Covers most of the windshield, but there are nooks and crannies where the light sticks in. You realize that when you're in the car while it's charging.Dislike(s):1. The umbrella like handle rests against the screen, so over time, expect your Tesla screen to get scratched.2. The "hole" for the rearview mirror is partly used to support the shade, but it keeps slipping.3. Sometimes, it won't open right away so you have to fiddle and untangle it. I'm debating if folding a regular shade would be simpler...most probably.

I paid for the option which included the slit in the top but I got the regular one instead which was a surprise. It's too hot to be without so I just kept it. Overall it gets the job done and it's real easy to use.

I like this sun shad much better than the multi fold ones.
