does the job
The only reason i gave 4 stars is because 1 of the vents were broke other than that they are doing the job & i like the magnets on these that keep them in place.

Good Air vent defector and protector, come apart a little too easy.
They are nice looking and don't draw a ton of attention, They deflect air from the vent into the room instead of up into furniture. They slide apart to clean easily and the magnets stick to the vents pretty well. While its a solid product, I wish it didn't come apart so easy. If you move them too much or if they are bumped at all they will come apart (Not slide apart but fall apart (Since its two pieces)). Just have to slide it back together and throw it back on the vent but a little annoying.

Keep coming apart
Because these are expandable, everything they get bumped they come apart. The peices that hold it together don't hold it very solid. I have cats and they bump them quite often. Great in very low traffic areas though.

Decent vent cover.
Does the job of redirecting airflow just fine.Uses magnets to attach to a metal vent cover. In my estimation the product should cost about $10 (canadian). (Easily manufacturable under $3)Build quality:Plastic is mediocre at best, most likely not designed to last forever, time will tell. The magnets are sandwiched between two pieces of metal and placed in predetermined slots, they are not glued in place.Because the product relies on tension to hold the magnets in place instead of a glue, one of the magnets was slightly out of scope and easily falls out.Two simple manufacturer solutions would be to either apply an adhesive or glue that can stand high temperatures; or to design a place for the metal to be inserted from the top and the magnet to be strong enough to be attracted with the plastic in between. The plastic shells come in two pieces where one slots into the other. The slot is small and the two halves can easily come apart. Should the tab be slightly taller this wouldn't be a problem.
