I purchased this paint-by-number kit as part of a gift package for a 98-year-old woman who is mostly housebound. I wanted to give her something engaging and fun to do. It had to be fairly easy given the age related challenges like poor eyesight and memory.It was a huge success. She couldn't wait to get started. When I followed up later with her care giver, he told me she spent hours, on and off, filling in the design. She loved the still life and said it was "beautiful."It was offered enough difficulty to be challenging but not frustrating. There were no issues with the paint, brushes or canvas. There was more than enough paint to finish the painting. I give this a big five stars and recommend it to painters of any levels.

It took a really long time to get here. I don't know why, but it was worth the wait. The canvas is a nice quality canvas and the print is very easy to see. I just received this so I haven't been able to try out the paints just yet, but I will update my review once I have. So far I love it!!!!

This was great value for the price! The paints were just enough for what I needed and then some (I do pretty thick layers because I don't like to see the numbers underneath.) The brushes worked well too, though I ended up buying a larger set.This was a very relaxing way to pass the time and made a beautiful Christmas gift for my best friend. The colors were slightly off and were more pink-leaning than the picture shows, but as pink is also a favorite color, I didn't mind too much. It was still purple, just warmer than it looks in the listing.

Beautiful high quality and fun! The canvas was rolled not folded which trust me is important. Other companies fold the canvas and it’s hard to get the creases out. This looks much more expensive than it is! I would definitely order from this company again!

I was able to sink a lot of hours into this activity, and I've got a finished product I'm proud of which will look beautiful in my home, so in that regard it was worth the purchase.However, the quality of the paint is disappointing and led to hours and hours more work than should have been necessary.Pros: inexpensive creative outlet, muted color tones, color scheme gave a true antique look, size of the canvasCons: nearly every single color was clumpy - they needed to be revived with water and the paint did not apply smoothly, three colors were unusable (had to mix my own from my paints), the folded canvas is a bummer - it should come rolled instead, the pigments aren't opaque enough and all required at least 2-4 coats - especially to cover the lines and numbers (some I did so many coats I lost count), some numbers totally missing, brush is useless (get yourself a better one)

This was only my second PBN. It came out beautifully! I've done about 5 more paintings since and it is one of my two favorites. It's just beautiful!

This is lovely, but I can't see well enough to paint by numbers anymore.
