Art Nouveau 11 1/4" High Melting Bronze Table Clock

First off, I do NOT know the seller, this is an honest, real review. I do not give reviews just because I am too lazy. BUT, given I just spent $100 on a clock, I feel it is my duty to do so. This clock is hands down amazing. Heavy, sturdy, looks in real life just as it does on the pictures. I am basically in LOVE with this thing. I am 10 hours in and it keep accurate time. It looks fantastic. I was searching for wall clocks and stumbled upon this, and was intrigued by it. I saved it on my favorites but found myself coming back to it. I am not an artsy fartsy person liked the idea of the Alice in Wonderland Johnny Depp in any Tim Burton kinda theme it had going. Well, pay day came, and I said, do it. SO, I did. Got it and love it. Any one who is thinking about it, if you see the pictures, and read the description, and now have read the reviews, if you are thinking about it, just do it!PS. The shipping was PERFECT! Came in its own box, which the clock was covered in Styrofoam. Then that box was in a box that was surrounded by packing peanuts. A++++++

I've had this in my wish list for about two years. I finally got it for myself as a Christmas gift. It's like in the picture, melty looking and stuff, but it's hard to read the time because of the dark background and dark hands. Also, I have a dark apartment, Lol! I still love this clock and will get some type of light to put in front of it. Likey likey!

Really cool, different and fun, looks and feels better than the pictures... and I bought it because I loved the pictures. I gave it a 5 star on value for the $$$ because although it wasn't a cheap item, it's very heavy and well made and the type of thing that will be a great piece for decades.

When I first saw this clock I was impressed by the artistic transformation of the melting clock imagery Dali employed in his famous paintings by the clock maker. However, things that tend to lock very nice on the internet, sometimes tend to be crappy and 'plasticy' when you hold the actual product in your hands. I own those too but ... Well, at least they were cheap, so no great loss. Not here. The clock is quite heavy, there is no plasticy feel about it and the finish is very well done. Interestingly enough, the 'Made in China' sticker, for the first time, became a quality mark for me rather than the opposite.

Clock casing itself is very nice, very well finished, and appears to have good craftsmanship. Extremely happy with that part. However, the time piece itself leaves much to be desired. The hands and cylinder to which they are attacked appear out of place stylistically, and are very, very cheap. I expected, tho maybe wrongly so, that part would have at least had a Bulova quality to it. Paying what I did for the clock, I would have spent another $40 or so for at least for a comparable clock mechanism. Keeping it because I hope to take it to a repair shop and get that upgraded.

Got this for my husband as a gift (he is a fan of Salvador Dali). He loves it! It is a nice, heavy piece and is made very well. Keeps time very well and is certainly a fun conversation piece in the home.

placed the clock in the one room that needed an easily read timepiece. All other areas in my place have clocks that are visible easily with just a glance. The clock filled the void for me and i no longer have to access my phone or enter another area to know what time it is. The room is a combination utility room/work spacehobby and project staging area and i’m in there frequently. Already getting comments on the clock from visitors, all complementary and positive.

Beautiful clock but the cheap plastic clock stop working the day after the expiration of the item. Tried changing to fresh batteries w no result
