Glad I tried these!
Glad I tried these! I was looking for a new pair of boots because I work in a tough feild and on my feet all day. Need something that is both comfortable and waterproof. I go thru a fair amount of boots in my job and just planned on buying one of my regular go-to boots when I stumbled on this Smith & Wesson pair on Amazon. I didn’t even realize there were Smith & Wesson boots out there. I’ve been a long standing fan of their guns and the price was right, so I thought, why not? Decided to give em a try. Glad I did. I can’t believe the price because they are really comfortable and they have been keeping my feet 100% dry all day. I can tell you not all waterproof boots keep your feet dry! These seem to be good quality like the other boots I buy but a lot cheaper price than those. Got them delivered quickly, no problems there. I like the Smith logo on the boot heel also. Nice touch. If you like the brand of guns like I do, you should check these boots out. I would definitely buy them again. I will see how well they hold up over time, but I think they will be good for everyday use. So far, they have been great. I would recommend them to anyone working on their feet all day and in harsh conditions like I often do. I think I found my new go-to boot. Now I should probably should go get me another M&P to match!

Review and photos after 3 years
I don't have anything negative to say about these boots. They broke in nicely and have been the most comfortable boots I've owned. I have worn Magnum, Red Wing, Bates and probably some other Walmart brand. They were all "stiff". I will try to show internal wear in the photos. The internal shot shows where my foot rubbed the back of the boot. Other shots are front, back and side.

WP version fits differently than the non-WP version
I bought the non-WP version of the S&W Breach 2.0 boots five years ago. They were very light weight and fit like running shoes. I wore them all the time because they were so comfortable. They also provided great arch support which for me prevents knee pain. I decided to buy a backup pair and saw that there was now a waterproof version available, so I bought the WP version. When I received them, I found out that they are not constructed the same as the non-WP version. They are heavier and fit more like traditional hunting boots. The arch support is not as good and they are not as comfortable mainly due to the added flap adjacent to the zipper to prevent water intrusion. Overall, these are still very good boots, but I'm going to save them for snow and rain days and buy another pair of the non-WP version for every day use.

Never going back to any other boots. Period.
I’m a new home electrician, I purchased these boots back in February of this year and I’ve waited to post a review so that I can really put these boots to the test to see how the heck they hold up. And I’ve gotta say, best damn boots I’ve ever owned. I’ve worked 16 hour days, I’ve worked in the mud, I’ve worked on slippery wet roofs on rainy days and hot blistering roofs on hot days, I’ve stepped on nails, and I’ve had to walk through narrow rafters on open ceilings, etc etc the list goes on but you get the idea.My feet don’t get tired, I’ve never slipped, my feet don’t burn up, I take my boots off at the end of the day and my socks are just as clean as when I put them on, no dust or dirt or water get on my socks.Plus having them go up past my ankles has saved me multiple times from rolling my ankles when stepping off ladders. This is an amazing product and they have a great look.Buy them and put them through the ringer. I guarantee you’ll love them.

Very upset of how they are made!!!!!
Fit really well!!!! I got the package from the post office as the lady handed me the box I was like wow (it felt like an empty box brought them home opened the box up to my surprise it had boots in it... The are VERY LIGHT WEIGHT!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!! If I need another pair I sure will buy them again!!!!!! Nice pair of boots!!!! I only had them 4 years and found out I tried to get them fixed but the gentleman at the shoe repair told me that they were made of CHEAP LEATHER!!!!!! And if I fix it it will likely tear some where else ge also said that it would probably be a waste of money to fix them!!!!!!!

Good budget boot, decent duty boot
On one hand, for the price paid, it is a good overall product. Leather components stay intact. Waterproofing as advertised. However, for duty use, the boot has a shorter life span. I have ordered and used several, and the ultimate death sentence is when the sole separates from the rest of the boot. As it is glued and not stitched, it eventually works it way off, and compromises the boot. For the several pairs that I had, they remained in service for approximately six months, giver or take. So, if in a pinch, or required to dig into your pockets, they are pretty good, all things considered.

Good boots but don’t allow your feet to breath
I’ve had these about a month now and they are holding up pretty well. I do 12 hour shifts and walk on average 17 miles a shift They don’t leak and are pretty comfortable although I did add a foam insole. The biggest problem I have with these boots is they don’t allow your feet to breathe. Consequently my feet are quite sweaty at the end of a 12 hour shift & the boots are beginning to smell quite badly so I’ll need to find a solution for that.

Good so far
These boots are decent so far. They are comfortable and the zipper has held up with no issues. I wish they had a loop at the back to aid putting them on but other than that, I like them.

BOOTS ARE TOO NARROW
The boots are way too narrow. I’m trying to send my first pair back,(size8.5), my normal shoe size. Killed my feet. So I went up a size, still way to narrow.
