We bit the bullet and purchased this for our Moen faucet
Update: it has been five months since we purchased this. So far, so good. It works perfectly and the batteries are still in place and not changed. It is nice to have this ac adapter. Dec 2020) Now here is the original review: It works well; it was super easy to install. It is nicely labeled so anyone could make the connections/plug in the cords. Without it, our batteries lasted 5 weeks of frequent use by two adults and two teens. After changing the batteries twice, we got this setup. I am sure everyone thinks Moen should have included this setup into any of their wifi faucet boxes. Also, I am sure everyone says "ouch" at the price of this power supply and tiny control box so you can see the lights to determine if AC current is in use, or if batteries are, or if batteries need replacing. I read reviews that say yes, the faucet works in a power outage or if batteries are dead-just use the faucet-and that is just not so. No power, no water period. If the batteries go down to 20% and you do not have this power supply, your faucet temporarily disconnects from your wifi and no, you have no water. So you absolutely 100% want this power supply so you are not using batteries 24/7 and only just when the power is out (think windstorm has knocked out the power lines). With this power supply, your batteries are a backup; they should last a long time. So this is a great product, it works, and I can recommend it. You simply have to have it or you will be swapping out your D cell batteries every month. I think the faucet battery pack is supposed to use "regular batteries" and not lithium batteries. The point is if you bite the bullet and buy this, it is easy to install and it works; you are off battery-changing protocol.

Excellent, but CONSTANT power is required…
I purchased this AC adapter for my Moen MotionSense kitchen faucet. Thankfully, I read a review here before I made my purchase. Yes, this AC power adapter works seamlessly with the provided 6 AAA battery power pack which comes with the faucet. However, when you plug it in, there MUST be constant power to the outlet you plug it into. I realize this seems like a given, but (as noted by a previous reviewer) if the outlet powers the garbage disposal which is controlled by a wall switch, you have to get a countertop mounted garbage disposal button installed as well. Easy! This button allows you to leave the switch on to power the under-sink outlet, then you plug both the faucet AC adapter and the garbage disposal. My InSinkErator garbage disposal countertop button even has an addition outlet on the under-sink control power box! I’m thankful to have I read about the power issue in a review here, so I hope this review helps you! Fabulous not having to change batteries, and this adapter can be used with/without the battery pack. However, plugging in the battery pack gives you backup power if there’s an outage.

It works and saved us money
I have the Elmo MX-1 portable document camera. The USB end of the power cord got broken off and I was unable to use the connect box. The document camera worked when connected to a computer, but without the connect box, I could not use all the functions and connect it to a TV or projector. I bought a universal power adapter from Walmart because I need the document camera in two days. The adapter did not work. I purchased this adapter. Although it took about two weeks to arrive, the plug worked like a charm. The power adapter is better than the one that came with the document camera since the plug is part of the cable and I don't have to use a USB charging block with the power cord.

Easy simple installation
I recently installed a new Moen Georgenes faucet with touchless control. This faucet comes with a battery pack of six AA batteries.Since the actual valves are located, not in the faucet handle, but in a control unit which clips to the base of the faucet under the sink, all the handle does to send an electrical signal to the control unit to turn on or off to regulate the flow valves. Without the battery pack connected, the faucet will not work. This power unit, which can be plugged into, in my case, a receptacle in the sink cabinet, then powers the faucet. The batteries thus become standby rather than primary for power delivery to the control unit.I called Moen and their price was significantly more than the Amazon price. I would have had to have paid shipping from Moen as well. The Moen lady suggested that I shop around on the Internet, (hint hint).

A necessary accessory for your Moen Touchless faucet
This is really a must have for anyone with a Moen Touchless faucet. This kit is an AC adapter with an interface that allows you to use your existing battery pack as a battery backup should your electricity go out. What do you get?-- A AC adapter which allows you to run your faucet from a household electrical plug-- A control module which uses the included AC adapter and the battery pack which came with your faucet as input and supplies power to your faucet as output. The main issue is you really need an always on source of household power (110/120V) somewhere around (preferably under) your sink. If you have this it literally is a 3 minute exercise to install this. If you don't then, wellllll, it gets a little more complicated. For some without a disposal you could use the switched power under your sink and simply leave the switch on all the time. If that doesn't work then you'll have to get someone to run wiring under your sink. To minimize cost ask them if they could put a junction box by another appliance (like a dishwasher or icemaker) and run the line from that.I installed this unit and it runs perfectly. However I deducted a star because the price is absurdly high.

Good plug
Good for the faucet instead of using batteries

Fixed reliability issue with Moen touchless faucet
Fixed the problem of trying to run on batteries alone. Only issue was that both receptacles under the sink were wired to the disposal switch. I found it easiest to run a plug from the dishwasher's AC feed. But that was not the supplier's fault, of course.
