The throat of the hole punch was smaller than I needed. However, I understand most people wouldn't use it on card board. I tried to use it on regular paper and it could not even cut it. The blade is not all at the same height. So three areas of the circle don't touch the paper.The 5 Star rating is for their customer service. After posting this review they reached out and help me out. I am guessing the one i got was just a slight issue. Most likely one of a kind.

Cuts good holes with ease, hard to line up if you are cutting out a preprinted design.

I absolutely love this circle punch for my paper crafts! It's incredibly easy to use and produces perfect circles every time. Always efficiently packaged and earlier than expected. Marvelous to make craft and display deadlines because of the hole punch. Additionally, the two brand new books; feels like a birthday present for a library clerk 😉
