MSCRP Camshaft Retainer Plate Gasket Kit with Bolt and Seal for GM LS1 LS2 LS3 4.8 5.3L... Cam

The part did not look machined properly. The machined hole around the cam was not centered like the factory plate and I decided not to use it. I only used the bolts it came with.

The plate is about 12,000 is too thick and causes the cam to get pinched between the block and the plate and would not turn. Had to disassemble engine diagnose problem and order a plate from somebody else. Do not buy

I could not tell a difference between the factory part and this one holding them both in my hand. Nicely done and nicely priced!

This plate is thicker than stock. I had to remove material from the back side of the timing gear to make it work. Before doing that, the engine wouldn’t even turn over.

This plate was .030 too thick. Locked cam gear up so it wouldn’t turn. Didn’t waste my time sending it back.
