I got this to stop the overly security focused work laptop locking down after three minutes! when I first plugged it in I thought it was faulty, as I could not see the mouse pointer moving. In actual fact this is intended so that you can operate a normal mouse at the same time, so leaving it plugged in continuously without having to turn it on and off. It works by moving the mouse just a tiny bit, enough to stop your screen locking down, but not enough that it would interfere with your work. You honestly cannot see it doing its job. Best invention since sliced bread!

I was worried when I bought this about how it would work and how it would jiggle but this was actually perfect. My work from home computer has a screen saver for 5 minutes which is laughable. This solves the problem. Very simply it shows up as mouse and it continuously moves the mouse in micro-movements. Just enough to keep the screen active but not so much it makes it hard to click on objects. I can leave it plugged in all day and most times I don't remember it's there until I remember I haven't seen my screen saver. I'm super happy with it. Physically it's unassuming it's tucks into any USB-A port you have open and functionally it's no muss no fuss.
