Fit my Osprey Farpoit 40 Perfectly!
I'm larger than the wasit straps on the Osprey Farpoint $40 can accommodate. I contacted Osprey and they actually said they would custom make a larger waist strap and ship it to me all for free. AWESOME!!. Problem is that it's a custom job and the straps won't arrive for 5-7 weeks. That is after my planned trip and I needed something sooner. The straps fit perfectly, and accommodated my rotund stomach with straps to spare.

Confortable, only option I found to add a waists belt to backpack
I recently bought a backpack. It is great except that it was missing a waist belt. I don't know why but most backpacks to carry laptops are either optimised for hiking or do not have a waist belt. Being that laptops are heavy, I think it is an important feature to include. At the end I opted to buy one without a waist belt and add it myself. And this was the only good option I found. The buckle is wide which adds to comfort and weight relief of the back. My backpack didn't have a place to add one so I sewed it to the end of the shoulder straps with a nylon thread. The result is great, it doesn't move and I finally can use my otherwise perfect backpack with some weight relief of my shoulders.

Used for an overnight ruck
I was looking for waist straps for an overnight ruck. Some were crazy expensive, but these were very reasonable. I attached to my Rush 12 Ruck Sack very quickly and easily and they held pretty well. Not perfect, but a great value for the price.

Effective.
Effective for adults, but not small frames, such as children. I bought these for the family's car bailout bags, which didn't have waist belts. When added, this product functioned for me as well as any pack with a built-in, non-padded belt. The width (better than average) and adjustability make use of the belt very acceptable in terms of comfort. (The strap could even be extended out to People Of Walmart lengths, but I'm not sure what body part they'd bear weight against.) These aren't a replacement for a purpose-built pack's padded waist belt as part of a suspension system, of course. I wouldn't want to wear this for an all-day hike. They work just fine for what they are.

These are the Waist Straps you wish came with your backpack
The media could not be loaded. If this review helps in any way Positive or Negative Please hit HELPFUL!!! It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased.Likes: * Durable webbing wide and comfortable around your waist * Reasonably priced * Plenty of webbing provided for whatever application you may desire to use these straps for. * Straps are already threaded so that you have an idea of how they go through the fittings provided.Dislikes: * I guess my only dislike of this is that the webbing could be provided in one piece with detailed instructions as to how to put together Waist straps and be able to save the excess webbing for another project.Yes I'd buy these straps again. I'm very happy that they are not so bulky that I can have them on my Packable backpack and still pack it back into its case.Thank you for reading my review:Again Please give this review a thumbs up. It is real. I do answer questions if in comments. I've been on Amazon as a customer for over twenty years, and now a top 500 reviewer. I don't get compensated for my reviews. Used as a waist belt for packs without one and "not" to extend existing waist belt...
The product seems sturdy. However, it is not what I needed. I purchased a backpack and it already has a waist belt, but a bit too short. I wanted something that extends the length of the exiting waist belt of the backpack. So, I searched Amazon for waist belt extension, and this item come up. However, this product does not provide that particular function, e.g. it does not fit to the existing buckles to extend the length of the existing waist belt. It is designed to provide a waist belt for backpacks without one. The picture instructions is not that good, but I could figure it out. I have to give it a one star because it does not function as intended when searching for waist belt extension.

So if you’re looking for a belt, not a backpack piece...
I’ll admit I didn’t buy this for the manufacturer’s intended purpose. I bought it for a cosplay that called for a similar looking belt, and wore it as such. It worked perfectly for my needs (with some adjustments obviously), fit around my torso perfectly once adjusted (I’m a woman’s medium in shirts for reference). The belt buckle was just the right size, and it is easy to unlatch, relatively easy to hook together and reloop into a belt instead of attaching to a bag as intended. Material is nice and sturdy.

Cheap. Light use only.
I added this to my ruck for a 12 hour endurance event. The belt made it through two practice runs (about 1.5 hours total) and the first hour of the event. Then the buckle fell off. I could have taken the time to thread the buckle back on but decided to throw it in my ruck and just fasten it with a square knot. So, this belt might work for very light casual use. It's not built for anything more than that.
