I've had my holder for over 20 years and I love it. But at first it was a pain in the ass because the tip of the holder would loosen up. So what I did was adjust the tip it where I wanted it and then apply heat shrink. Problem solved.

But $10 worth a pencils cause this going is pointless. Pencil slips out no matter how you try to rig it in there

Works okay if you notch the pencil, it has a loose fit, and is totally not necessary. Bought it because they don't make a metal pencil clip for carpenters pencils and I go ttired of pencils falling out of my vest

I have carried this about two weeks now and used it everyday. I love it and it works perfectly. I haven't had any issues with it pushing out because I pushed the tabs together when I got it.

Works great for protecting your pencil from getting broken. There is also a clip on the reverse side that allows me to clip this pencil to the inner lip of my tool pouch so it isn't always falling to the bottom of my bag and getting lost and broken.

This thing keeps falling off the carpenter pencil and you have to keep adjusting it over and over again

Great but simple thing stops pencil from snapping in my pocket
