Bought for kids but playing it more my self. Brilliant game highly reccomended

Looks like I wasn't the only one to get a case delivered but no game?? Fortunately, Amazon customer services swiftly sent out a replacement, but maybe they need some CCTV in their warehouses!The game starts with the option to jump in with a quick race in single player but you are limited to a select few tracks and vehicles as others are locked. Rewards come as you maintain a high place in championship mode then the game opens up with more tracks and better vehicles.I have given this four stars at a push as I had fun with the VR experience and felt no sickness effects. On a standard LCD screen you are ok with the third person view, but I found the (in vehicle or 1st person view) a bit restricted and annoying as it was hard sometimes to see where you are landing from a jump or anticipating a bend. VR mode solves this and was far more playable in first person view.The game plays smooth with only a small amount of pop up scenery here and there, but to be fair most tracks are quite barren and have little scenery anyway. The AI seems to always be on your tail and no matter how well you drive it's hard to get any major lead so I was scraping through the championship and not always 1st.The graphics are ok but not outstanding and can be a bit blocky in VR. When you make a huge jump you look for that pit of your stomach feeling as you drop and that is where the visuals didn't give me a real sense of depth, maybe there will be a patch to improve this.No doubt though that this is playable and fun along with a reasonable price tag so I recommend a buy if you like off road blasting around.
